Day 28: Almost. Done.
Pizza and beer were tempting, but day 28 is NOT the same as day 30.
Day 27: Had to listen to my body today. What started as a 6 mile run, ended as a almost 4 mile jog/mostly walk. My legs were just tired today. Big shoutout to @tdcastor17 for being patient with me! Super bowl Sunday tomorrow has me wishing I would have started my Whole30 adventure just a couple days earlier! Although I’ve found some compliant snacks, I am feeling a little unAmerican not having a beer while watching the game tomorrow. Day 25 & 26: No run today, but still managed to meet my step goal by walking laps with my students, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, and cleaning around the house! On the Whole30 front, a lot of questions about my first meal following the Whole30, and I honestly don’t have one in mind. I’m excited for brown rice and corn tortillas again. Day 21: So close! The closer I get the more I realize, I can do anything I set my mind to!
Day 19 & 20: Excited about the @butcher_box that came today! Still enjoying my meals, and am surprised at how little I actually crave. I have had a lot of practice explaining why I am doing the Whole30. This journey has given me a new outlook on drinking socially. Though I enjoy my wine and a good IPA as much as the next girl, I don’t have to say no to social events because I’m not currently drinking. #whole30#butcherbox#13point1goingon30#thisis30
Day 18: I can totally tell my relationship with food has changed. I still have the occasional craving (milkshake), but also recognize that these cravings don’t always make me feel amazing!
