My favorite place to eat my #notatmydesklunch is outside. It's a nice change of pace, it's quiet, and I get to sit in the sun. For me, that is relaxing and gets me out of the headspace of all the things I was just working on. . For other people, eating with coworkers could be a nice change of pace and fulfilling after just sending emails or responding to crises. . Do what works for you and fills you up. Whichever one works for you, try to focus on what you're eating or a topic that isn't work. Talking about work can be just as stressful as the work itself. Day 18 - Let's start thinking about life after the detox. Think about which foods you want to bring back into your life. How did they fit into your life pre-detox? Are any of these foods trigger foods? — Reintroducing foods isn't always a linear process. You may try to moderate a certain food, only to discover that you're best abstaining from that food. Yes, you can have bacon if there's some added sugar in it! As long as it's less than 1 gram of sugar per serving. . A small amount of sugar is used in the curing process, but if there's more than 1 gram of sugar per serving then it's probably used for flavor enhancement and that is not approved. Remember, we're retraining our palate on the 21DSD, we don't want to consume things that are any sweeter than they are naturally! . I like to buy a bunch of different veggie options when I go to the store. Some fresh, some frozen, and some pre-cut. I also like to buy several different protein options. The. I pick a protein and some veggies and get creative. A make similar meals but they are usually never exactly the same. . For this meal I used the Healthy 8 chopped veggie mix from @traderjoes, carrot spirals from @traderjoes, and ground beef. It turned out great and was quick and easy to make. .
