ever since i’ve been diving into skincare world more seriously, @alliesofskin is one of the brands that has been mentioned every now and then with many positive reviews along the way. but since the products in their line have quite a hefty pricetag, what better way to try out than to get the least expensive item which is the molecular saviour mist. .
you may think that what a mist can do anyway, right? guys, the first time using this i was blown away by the results the next morning. i don’t know how to perfectly describe but it really hydrates, soothes, calms and rejuvenates the skin. it’s so potent to the point that i can just use this then follow by a moisturizer before bed if i’m really lazy. and not only that, i’ve noticed that i use acid exfoliator less frequently than before. how about that?
happy hump day everyone! as i’ve mentioned in my story the past weekend, these are the 2 sunscreens which have been on my rotation for the past few weeks and been loving and so proud of because they are thai brands!
☂️the first one being “perfect protection spf50+++” from @deflair_official *
this baby definitely exceeded my expectation. whether it’s the consistency, texture and protection it gives. this one has a gel texture that sinks into the skin beautifully and doesn’t leave any oily residue on the face. being tinted also help adjusting and evens out the skintone and doesn’t leave a whitecast. one other reason which i know you too would appreciate is that they also include skin loving ingredients in the formula like centella asiatica, short peptide micro collagen, sodium hyaluronate and vitamin b3 .
☂️next one “le soleil” comes from non other than, of course, @brisuthi.th (i honestly can’t get enough from this brand) *
le soleil also offers spf50 with 4 +. so far i haven’t found anyone who doesn’t like it. because it’s the kind of sunscreen that feels more like applying a serum so absolutely no whitecast in sight after application. compared to de flair, le soleil has a bit more watery texture and sinks in a tad quicker by quarter of a second. even though this does not contain fragrance nor essential oil but i can smell a citrusy scent which i believe to be from olive leaf extract, an antioxidant/anti-inflammatory agent, included in the formula. .
for me, i can alternate between the two everyday whether on working days where i typically got blasted from a/c or on the weekends where i mostly spend activities outside and having to face direct sunlight. but since le soleil is not tinted like the de flair, i still need to use a bit of cc cream to even out my face. .
*both are gifted
[english in the comment]
happy saturday everyone! since weekends are for having a self-pampering sesh. why not talk about a mask i’ve been loving lately .
prior to discovering caudalie’s instant detox mask, most of the masks which fall into the detoxifying/mud mask category had never really impressed me. whether it did nothing for my skin or, you guess it, caused me closed comedone acne
however, the instant detox mask turns out to be something special just as many people’ve been raving about
the first time i used this was out of curiosity to see if it would help deminishing 2 pesky spots i was having a few weeks ago. and i kid you not, it helped reducing redness tremendously and, tmi, sucked out whatever gunk out of those spots
have you used it? or are there other favs of yours?
not loving my feed lately so showing some products i no longer in love with (is it even the same subject? 🤷🏻♀️)
🤦🏻♀️ ceramic slip from #sundayriley:
the 1st time i used ceramic slip i thought i wouldn’t buy other cleansers since it performs exceptionally well with my skin. definitely a hg status. fast forward to 2nd bottle shown here which has been opened for 8 months and is no where near half way through. because for some unknown reasons, it gave me bumps and whiteheads each time i used it. .
🤦🏻♀️ facial spray aloe, cucumber and green tea from #mariobadescu:
i might be the rare case but mario’s facial sprays tend to broke me out guys. not only this one but also the original rose facial spray. which makes me sad since both are packed with lovely ingredients at such affordable price.
changing up my photo game. what do you guys think? also, need i say more about this cleanser?
when it comes to moisturizer category, i personally enjoy a gel type as it not only is lightweight but also tends to give me the least congestion which leads to breakouts, even though moisturizing factor may be probably low compared to others. which is the kind of texture magic white ice by @arconalosangeles is. .
if you can remember, i previously reviewed another gel moisturizer from skininc which i found to be difficult to work with whereas the magic white ice was not. it glides onto the skin very easily just like any other gel moisturizer would, sinks in relatively fast without leaving a film clinging and rolls up when you later apply sunscreen and make-up and provide enough hydration throughout the day. .
the only downside is its strong scent which somehow reminds me of a fruity scented eraser i used to have when i was in kindergarten. and it lingers for about 10 minutes or so before subside.
even though it performs absolutely well but the strong scent kinda puts me off so i’m still contemplating whether i should get the full size after i finished this or not. so please @arconalosangeles, could you make this frangrance free? 😬
morning scene. and how pretty are these flowers? i couldn’t resist and bought them yesterday while out with mom.

happy weekend loves! hope you guys don’t forget about me already. on today’s post i am talking copper peptide.
so my first experience with copper peptide was a while back when i was using #niod’s CAIS which claims to help in delaying ageing process while stimulate cell renewal at the same time. and, let me tell you, when i was using CAIS, my skin felt smoother, had a lot less visible signs of ageing which include hyper pigmentation and fine lines.
even though all the amazing stuff it had brought me, i did’t re-purchase because of its pricetag. and then the most amazing thing happened, @deciem, the company who owns both niod and the ordinary, decided to release this serum, buffet+copper peptide 1% that’s a fraction of the price of the CAIS!
i didn’t expect too much from it. but guys this does deliver like its cousin did to my skin! the only difference between the two is texture. CAIS is watery and absorbs within seconds while the buffet+cp has a gel like consistency like the original buffet and takes a tiny bit more time to sink in.
would i re-purchase? a huge yes. you know what? i’m just gonna go stock up a few more now. 🤣

so as promised, 2 weeks have passed and now’s the time to share my thoughts on the 01 iconic brightening essence (ibe)* from a thai brand called @tmysthailand. ~
first off all, my previous experience with vitamin c was almost non-existent as i’ve read that even though it provides many benefits but vit c in an ascorbic acid form can also cause irritation and sensitivity to some people. and of course your girl who already has sensitive skin would stray away from undoubtedly. .
but until recently other forms of vitamin c have been developed to cater to different types of skin without the risk of having irritation, with the likes of ascorbyl palmitate or magnesium ascorbyl phosphate which the latter is one of the main ingredients in the ibe. .
although the name suggested as an essence but i use it in serum step in the morning after i spray a low ph mist to adjust my skin. ~
and after 2 weeks of having been using this consistently everyday, it has improved the skintone and any hyperpigmentation better than i expected. any pih (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) from breakouts were less prominent and healed faster than they usually have! all of that without irritation nor other side effects!
ps. to conserve the quality of the ibe, i store it in the fridge and besides it feels really refreshing to apply in the morning.
ps 2. swipe to see the texture *product gifted by the brand
hi loves! sharing today is my recent empties and thoughts on them. swipe left to see each product. [ส่วนภาษาไทยอ่านที่คอมเมนท์ได้เลย] .
• @africanbotanics’ pure marula cleansing oil.
the first oil cleanser after 10 years of not including them in my routine. and guys the marula was a dream! i love that it has a light consistency that makes it really easy to massage in and leave no residue when rinse. i used this as 1st cleanse
💸 will i repurchase? yes as long as they still make it .
• @biologique_recherche’s lait u.
although, it’s described as a milk cleanser but the texture feels more like a cream to me. i also used this as 1st cleanse to remove make-up which might not be its purpose because it didn’t help removing make-up very well. however, this one is incredible for when the skin is sensitized and needs some nourishment along the routine. 💸 repurchase? probably yes. but for now i’m eyeing on the lait vip o2. do share if you have used it! .
• @demamielskin’s dewy facial mist.
the most luxurious and expensive mist to ever existed in my beauty shelf. not only that it delivers the sensorial experience along the way but it also hydrates, soothes and calms the skin without leaving the skin tight nor dry. and i also noticed that any blemish i had healed faster when i was using this. 💸 repurchase? YES but i have to clear out the mists in my current stash first .
• @iloveskininc’s pure recovery dew.
this was included in a sample sized moisturisers set i bought from sephora. the texture of this really took me by surprise. first it came out as a gloopy slippery gel but as i applied to the skin, it became watery and absorbed immediately. 💸 repurchase (the full size)? no. although this gave me a good amount of hydration and didn’t leave my skin greasy but due to its texture, you have to be really quick when applying or else it would slide off easily. and it’s a waste of product.
hope you are having a great weekend!
so when i first heard that hourglass was releasing a new product “veil translucent powder”, i knew i had to have it since i was already a fan of their ambient lighting powder. although, it worked perfectly as a finishing powder but the finish was a tad too shimmery for daytime wear and i would end up looking like i was one of the cullens. ~
and i’m happy to report that since i acquired the veil, i have been using it everyday. because it provides you all the great effects like the ambient but minus being shimmery. i still can detect some particle of shimmers in the powder. but once applied they’re not visible for the eyes to see and only blurs out any imperfection and leaves your complexion looking flawless and a healthy glow. ~
in conclusion i can never recommend this powder enough!
stairways to weekend
so the past week and a half, i have been using @cerave facial moisturising lotion as a final step to my nightly routine. even though it’s been incorporated for only a short period of time but my skin feels more hydrated, soothed and even with zero breakouts which is pretty rare since i have acne/congestion prone skin. and most of anything hydrating tends to give me bumps and whiteheads (sad face). but not with this one, this lightweight moisturiser TOTALLY lives up to its claim and comes with a purse friendly price. i got this for around THB 550 (not sure of the exact price) from boots. definitely ranking HG status for me!
