These are so good. My eldest twin helped coat them in the coconut and, for the briefest of time, no one was fighting. My twins seem to be arguing a lot at the moment and it’s honestly one of the things that really wears me down. 😔 They seem to take it in turns to be the antagoniser! They will fight about EVERYTHING - where to sit on the couch/at the table; who opens the door, who closes the door, who walks out first... and that’s within a 20 minute window. 😫
But... these delights will keep us all going for a few days. This is from my @deliciouslyella book but I add little bits to them all the time and it works. Experiment!
200gr nuts (I tend to use almonds or hazelnuts as I like them most)
1-2 tablespoons of water.
2 tablespoons nut butter (I tend to use almond or peanut as I always have those)
2 tablespoons coconut oil
4 tablespoons raw cacao powder
Whizz up the nuts in the food processor, add the dates, nut butter, coconut oil, cacao and water. Whizz again.
Optional extras to add - chia seeds, sunflower seeds, orange zest
Form into small balls and roll in desiccated coconut. ..
I wish had known/learnt this earlier. As many of you know, I struggled with my postpartum 🤰body after my twins 👶👶were born. I put unnecessary pressure on myself when there was just too much physical and mental stuff going on that had its own pressure. And I was doing it for all the wrong ❌ reasons, working out, eating no where near enough and doing it because I hated my body. Don’t get me wrong, I like looking and feeling 💪 strong, lean and being fit but this body is flipping amazing and I should REWARD it by working out 🏋️♂️ , by being the best version of me that I can be, not by punishing it, and hating it. 💛
Happy Wednesday to my #fitfam. It’s leg day for me 😊Fingers crossed I can get it done.

I didn’t hear the timer go off on the oven as was up on the top floor of my house folding laundry (exciting, I know!) so these were a bit dry. By “a bit” I mean you need to drink (lots) of water while eating one or you’ll experience the same sensation as trying to eat a packet of cream crackers in one go!! 🥨🙈😫😂
