I’ve had a lot of down time the past few days as I’ve been trying to feel better after my husband gave me his cold 🤧
Here’s the natural remedies I’ve had on rotation to get comfortable and feel better quickly:
•Shot of @firecider_ (warning, this stuff has some heat so if that’s not your thing take a shot of ACV)
•Diffusing essential oils on rotation, Proshield, Lime, Soothing Aire, Scotch pine (these oils support the immune system and respiratory system)
•Take EO internally in a veggie cap (Proshield, Oregano, Frankincense, Tea Tree, Cell Support)
•@dirtygirlfarm Mama to be tea with local raw honey
•Warm bath before bedtime, Baking soda, Dead Sea salt, Eucalyptus EO, calming herbs
•Boiling water in a bowl with peppermint, Tea tree EO. Inhale slowly to eliminate nasal congestion.
What’s your go to natural remedy to feel better quickly?!
When I originally dove into the natural health world, house cleaners and laundry were some of the first things that I changed! You have to be very careful with both of these things because even though lots of products are labeled natural, most still contain fragrance. Fragrance is one of the most allergenic and cancer causing agents.
Here’s a few budget friendly things I have on hand when I’m doing laundry
-White Vinegar: Use in place of fabric softener, will also eliminate odors, and no the clothes don’t smell like vinegar when the load is done!
-Borax and Baking Soda: I use a scoop of one or the other right in with my detergent to help elongate odor and keep clothes brighter. -Pur Vie Clincial grade essential oil blend: a few drops in the washer helps with odors and gets you the “fresh laundry scent” natural (the true test is when I use this when I wash my husbands hockey stuff) Amazing!
-Wool dryer balls (not pictured) can add a few drops of EO or just use them in lieu of dryer sheets. They last forever! I’ve had mine 3+ years and they’re still going strong!
