An amazing time-lapse taken by @astroworkshops Uluru participant @chels_e_photo, showing day turn to night and the milky way core emerging from behind Uluru. We feel extremely privileged to be able to access the Uluru Kata-Tjuta National Park at night during our @astroworkshops. Well done Chelsey! #astroworkshops
There is awesome work coming from our participants on this year's AstroWorkshops Uluru workshops including this amazing bulb star trail exposure from @mattdukephotography taken in Yulara Village. We really enjoyed having you with us Matt and look forward to seeing more of your work!
To be featured don't forget to include the #astroworkshops tag. Dates for our 2019 Uluru astroworkshops will be released soon!
We're excited to announce our next workshop, AstroWorkshop x Narooma 2018. Immerse yourself in four days and three nights of astrophotography in one of Australia's best seascape locations. For more visit astroworkshops.com! #astroworkshops
We are really excited to be on the road to the Capertee Valley to host our second Capertee AstroWorkshop. With a forecast of clear skies our participants will be in for a real treat this weekend! #astroworkshops
Captured on the Astroworkshops.com Shoot for the Stars workshop in Uluru back in June. We were so fortunate to be granted access to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park outside normal hours for us to capture the clear crisp night sky with the Milky Way rising over these iconic geological formations.
Stay tuned. We are getting ready to announce our Uluru workshop dates shortly
Workshop leader @tscharke is shortlisted in the 2017 Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, the world's largest Astrophotography competition. His shot called 'Crescent Moon over Mount Banks' made it into the list for the Nightscapes category. It will be published in the annual competition book, which is a pretty awesome read if you're ever looking for astrophotography inspiration! #astroworkshops
We had a bit of fun with a super bright torch and some old industrial ruins on our last Capertee AstroWorkshop. Join @tscharke and @jaydidphoto on the next instalment. Visit astroworkshops.com/capertee for more info! #astroworkshops
The stunning reflections of Glasshouse Rocks on Cemetery Beach just have to be seen to be believed. Just one of the awesome locations on our Narooma AstroWorkshops. I love it how you can line up the light of Montague Island Lighthouse between the giant sea stacks. #astroworkshops
Everyone has their time to shine. The farmland around Quirindi NSW offers many interesting crops to photograph under the night sky. During our workshop there in September we are likely to have a good dose of Canola to keep us busy! This is a throwback to January when sunflowers were all the rage. #astroworkshops
A great image of Mullimburra Point by our 2017 Narooma AstroWorkshop participant @steveleupen. Whilst we had cloudy conditions on this evening our patience was rewarded by a glimpse of the Milky Way galactic core. It doesn't always go your way but it's great when it does! Thanks for sharing Steve ☺️ #astroworkshops
There's nothing like standing under clear skies at your favourite beach and watching the milky way rise from the Eastern horizon. It's incredible to look back at the centre of our own galaxy like this, and even more incredible to be able to photograph it!
This is Turimetta Beach on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, only 30km from the CBD of Sydney! #AstroWorkshops
Join us in the Capertee Valley for an amazing weekend photographing the stars at the abandoned Glen Davis Shale Oil Refinery. Our participants last year had an amazing time. Dates 25-27 August. See link in bio for more! #AstroWorkshops
