“Fear tricks us into living a boring life.” - Donald Miller Actor: Dan Sweeney

Here’s some new headshot work that looked great in color but honestly was even better in black and white. I always think headshots are a fun and challenging niche of photography. It’s not just shooting a portrait, which would be all about what I think makes for a cool image, instead it’s about visually making a person seem marketable, polished, and yet still unique. Actor: Dan Sweeney

I like this shot because she looks like some vampire nymph wiping the blood off her lips, which definitely October appropriate. 🎃 🧛🏼‍♀️ Model: @itsonlyaubrey MUA: @glamourandgloves Hair: @joieelysemua

It’s Sunday. The day of rest. So I’m saving up my witty caption energy for future posts. ✌🏻

I love when you find a good frame within a frame. Oh, and shoutout to that one duck hanging out in the right of the photo 🦆

Some projects require a lot of gear, and sometimes projects like this just need a camera, a lens, and a wonderful couple together for an engagement shoot. I always find it strange when photographers brand themselves as only doing one thing (such natural light only photographers). Different shoots need different tools. For this project it just felt right to keep things very natural with no artificial light and let the environment speak for itself ✌🏻

I love these shots because it involves making the model stare directly into the light and still try to look relaxed 👀✌🏻 Model: @gracefullynatalie
