You guys, when I started with Beautycounter two and half years ago we only had 4 cleansers versus now, we have 7! That is so much more inclusive to the MANY different skin types! If you've tried Beautycounter's cleansers before and didn't get what you were looking for, know that there are so many more options now and I'm here to help you pick the best for YOU! Beautycounter truly is the LEADER is safer beauty, we've got that part of our business locked DOWN! Now we can focus on performance and WOW, these products just keep getting better and better and better! I was just chatting with a gal that deals with acne and her need to be diligent in her routine morning and night to keep it at bay. I told her that while that is not MY issue, I can understand her frustration with her skin. I'm on the opposite end, super dry and even MORE dry (if that's possible) with pregnancy and if I don't wash and moisturize morning AND night, I notice a major decline in the condition of my skin, QUICK. Maybe you are like her or like me? Consistency is key in having your best possible skin. As ALWAYS reach out with specific questions or concerns so we can get you on the best product line and using the BEST products possible! Check out my story for skin type recommendations!

Breaking up is hard to do. 🎼 I often get asked after posting about the dangers of fragrance and how misleading it often times is when it comes to ingredient lists...”do you wear perfume?” My answer: nope. 🙅🏻‍♀️ When I started to educate myself on the endocrine disrupters, cancer causing, allergy inducing, organ toxicity- producing chemicals found in our everyday products. Fragrance was one I really started to pay attention to. It is REALLY hard to eliminate all fragrance, I know. Trust me. But it frustrates me to no end that companies can seem like they are giving you the real- real by listing all ingredients but right there in the list is the word “fragrance.” Fragrance is not an ingredient. I’m going to say it again for the people in the back. 🗣 FRAGRANCE is NOT an ingredient. Its a sneaky, slimy way for companies to hide behind ingredients that are linked to all kinds of health issues. You really need to avoid it in all areas possible. 😷 I was the worst 🙋🏻‍♀️, most guilty consumer ever when it came to fragrance just three years ago. I thought buying expensive meant better- even when it came to candles and dish soap and perfume. Wrong, wrong, wrong. ❌ Throwing away 3 bottles of almost full (expensive, high end, department store) perfumes almost knocked the wind out of me. But I did it and I’m so glad I did! You want to know why? Babies shouldn’t be exposed. I stopped wearing it when I had a baby. But if babies shouldn’t be exposed, should I? I think no. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So my solution is EO roller balls and you know what? They’re great! I especially love my Ambre roller. And I highly recommend getting yourself a pretty diffuser and EO scents you love. Breaking up with candles isn’t too hard to do either.😉 Small changes, big impact. There are nice alternatives guys! 😍(More cleaner swaps in my story☝🏼)

I got to preview what’s coming for holiday today and oh my! 🙌🏼 If you were around last year and loved the collections, you’re in for a MAJOR treat this year! 21 collections, 9 new products... what are you hoping for?!

It’s that time of year again where I have to add a little lighter shade to my foundation. 🍂🍁 I wear Sand in the Summer and Linen in the Winter but have to mix them Spring/Fall to get the perfect shade. 🙌🏼 It doesn’t ever hurt to mix a couple shades when your skin is in transition. Don’t be scared about looking too white 👻, your bronzer and highlighter will give you the glow and dimension you need! It’s more important that your face match your chest/neck! Holler for color recs! 😘

Just cleaning my apples over here! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Who our there uses a produce spray? I don’t use it on all produce but try to clean the #dirtydozen a little more aggressively. I’ve also heard of soaking in vinegar and water but haven’t tried that yet. Just looking to remove sprays on our produce and would love to hear what everyone else is doing! @rebel_green

Good morning and happy Friday! I have a Tint Skin Foundation/Concealer Pen trick-tip I want to share with you all. No filter and keepin' it real here this morning in my uniform-as in NOTHING fits me so I'm on a few outfits in rotation. Sorry bout that but I'm not buying another maternity item. Period. Some of you claim that the Tint Skin isn't as much coverage as you are used to, here's the fix and my thoughts on that. First, chances are you have much prettier skin than you give yourself credit for so you don't NEED as much coverage as you think you do. I've talked to many of you in person, this is my opinion of you and your skin. BUT I know that it's hard to shift from what you are used to so here's my fix. Invest in a concealer pen, maybe even two like I'm doing here. A lighter concealer pen (mine is in fair) under the eyes to cover dark circles, veins---- just brightens eyes up! Your skin is thin around your eyes so even if you don't have dark circles (lucky) you can likely see veins peeping through. I like to go a shade lighter so that the eye area looks as bright as possible. A darker pen to match your skin is perfect for "high traffic" areas like around your nose (thanks seasonal allergies) and blemishes. It's harder to see in the pic below but I have the light shade around my nose. This concept will give you more coverage ONLY where you need it so your face matches your chest (and the rest of your body). Once you get blush, highlighter and bronzer on the rest of your face, you will end up with more "coverage" in those areas by default. So I implore you to consider giving less coverage a chance. You might be surprised at how seeing that skin of yours showing through actually looks pretty darn good! 💕 One more little sidenote: the products and routine that you are using to care for your skin morning and night have MUCH to do with how your makeup applies. Talk to me if you aren't happy with your routine or results! Whether you are brand new to Beautycounter or using all of our skincare and are less than thrilled with the condition of your skin, I'm here to help resolve this! Reach out! xoxoxo

This little love bug asks to have “lips” almost everyday. Most days I let her even though I never thought I’d let my (almost) three year old wear makeup. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I guess it’s a result of having a mom that plays with makeup and skincare for a living. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But here’s the really good news when it comes to makeup and the really immature skin of my child. 😍 Beautycounter bans almost 1500 ingredients from all of our personal care PLUS we screen for heavy metals which is above and beyond the industry standards. 👌🏼This is great news not only when it comes to us moms (because we’re important too) but I know I’m not the only mom that has a daughter (or son 😳) that likes to play in our makeup. Choose safer. #betterbeauty #nontoxicmakeup

My husband just may kill me for putting this on IG 😬 but how sweet? Storms in the night = kids in your bed. Anybody else get a less than great night sleep last night? 😴⛈

Let’s talk about this little gem of a cleanser. If you have: combination skin, dry skin, sensitive skin or are using our new Overnight Resurfacing Peel....I’m talking to you! ❤️ First let’s discuss the specifics, it’s name to start: Pure Calm Cleansing Milk. 😳 Now, if that name alone doesn’t want you bathing in it, I don’t know if you should even continue to read this post. 🤷🏻‍♀️ This is a dry cleanser with NO surfactants so it works in a like-dissolves- like manner. You apply it to dry skin, massage it in and rinse. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated, yet clean. So here’s what I’ve been doing with it: at night 🌚 I use it after I remove my makeup with one of our compostable makeup remover wipes. Disclaimer: I wear a LOT of makeup so I truly believe in the (Korean) double cleanse method but that’s just a side note for now. Then I use “the milk” to remove any remaining residue, makeup or pollutants still hanging around. Then I “peel”, moisturize and off to bed. 😴 In the mornings 🌝 I’ve been standing over my sink and applying this (once again!) to my dry face to remove the dead skin that the 9 acids from the peel removed the night before. I rinse with cool water and then step into my hot shower. Did you know that washing your face in the shower, while convenient is really not a great idea? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Don’t get me wrong, I still do it sometimes too but typically, your shower is way to hot for your face. All that moisture just escapes! I only wash my hair a few times a week so there’s no real reason to submerge my face anyhow. Once I’m out of the shower, I go about my normal moisturizing routine (which usually includes a little spritz of rosewater before I get going on the other products.) 💕 Who has this product? Do you use it? Love it? Confused by it (I was at first 🙋🏻‍♀️)? Discuss.

Do you have a chiropractor? If not, find yourself a good one, it’s life changing! I wish I could show you my cupping spots but they’re all over my hips amd 🍑 and no one wants to see that! 🙈 I get an adjustment with cupping pretty regularly to maintain overall back health and it is the best thing I feel like I do for myself! At this point my pregnancy it’s essential. Make sure you are taking care of that body, you’ve only got one! #selfcare

Blurred lip lines in a bold shade is all the rage, so how do you do it? 🤷‍♀️ I am a lipstick girl, always have been. I don't really have a "go-to" look, I switch it up daily. It's okay if you can't relate but let me tell you a little secret about rocking a bold lip for those special occasions....blot, wipe and blur.✔️ This photo is of me wearing my current favorite "tomato red" shade of Beautycounter lipstick, "Bc Red." It goes on bold, like REALLY bold. It scares pretty much everyone that tries it but here's a little trick: apply, rub your lips together to really get it locked in. Wait. After a few minutes blot 2 or 3 times, then take your finger and swipe your lip lines. Voila! You've got a broken in, not-too-perfect but bold lip that is totally on trend right now!

Good moning! Just your reminder that you don’t have to sacrifice your health in the name of beauty! 💕 Your skin is your largest organ, what you put in it matters a LOT! 🙌🏼 Holler if you want to have a little side chat about what you’re needing/wanting from your skincare and makeup. 😘

We had a crazy, busy weekend around here full of cousins, birthday celebrations and a little toddler who shall remain nameless that slept with us two nights in a row ( which is way outside our norm and never goes well). This mama is tired! 😴 Thankful on this #monday for a concealer pen that makes my eyes look more rested and awake than I really am! It is packed in a chic gold tube with a handy little click pen product dispenser. Not only is it wrapped in pretty packaging, it doesn’t crease in my fine lines but rather goes on super creamy and smooth. I keep ✌🏼 around at all times! One in “light” to match my face- I add around my nose and any blemishes for more coverage than just my foundation where I need it most! I also bump down one shade to “fair” under my eyes and over my eyelids as primer for shadow. Going one shade lighter than the rest of my face makes my eyes bright ☀️ which the Lord knows I need! You need one (or two) of these pretty little things in your life! Oh! And they don’t perform beautifully but are also significantly safer for your body than most concealer pens you’ll find at the drugstore or on a shelf at Ulta. Don’t shoot the messenger. 🤷🏻‍♀️
