what I eat at university ✨
on Wednesday’s I am at uni from 8am until 6pm and I don’t have any time between classes to get lunch or anything so I need to be super prepared with what I bring to eat!
tomorrow I have prepared:
- overnight oats for breakfast - I usually bring my @keepcup and get a soy chai in the morning ☕️
- strawbs 🍓 and oranges 🍊 for my morning snack
- ‘Sushi bowl’ for lunch with sushi rice, salad, @gardein chicken tenders, sprinkled herbs & seaweed & mayo
- smashed rice cakes, carrot sticks & hummus for afternoon tea - + of course lots of water 💦

my life has been insane lately 😅
I have been juggling a lot and therefore I have been feeling super stressed the last month- however this should all calm down after this week which is exciting ☀️ I just wanted to give you all a reminder that it’s your responsibility to look after your own health & wellness and therefore it’s your job to take breaks, to take on less if you need it and to be aware of when things are serving you and when things aren’t!

💞✨finding love within yourself ✨💞 the old saying goes ‘you can’t love someone else until you learn to love yourself’ and quite honestly I always rolled my eyes at this, 🙄 because I didn’t love myself and I knew that I definitely loved others. However, something I have learned over the last year is that when you do love yourself, you can accept love from others. 👨❤️💋👨👩❤️💋👩💏So I propose the new saying should be ‘you can’t accept the love others have for you, unless you can truly love yourself’ 💭🌸💞 The last year has been the biggest transformation for me mentally and there are so many factors for this. Last year when my previous relationship ended I promised myself that I would finally focus on myself and my own wellbeing.... but I didn’t. I let myself fall right off the bandwagon. Then I met my boyfriend Michael.... he has taught me a lot but I guess the biggest thing he has taught me is how to accept love from others because this boy tells me a million times a day and I know that each and every time he means it. But the way he taught me this isn’t by telling me every day.. it’s by allowing me to love myself and encouraging me to embrace my flaws and my strengths. But I promise you, you don’t need anyone to show you how to do this you truly just need to do it. If you want some tips on how to do this then here are a few things I have found to help:
1. Repeating affirmations with intention.
2. Saying thank you when someone
compliments you, rather than denying it.
3. Journaling my thoughts and reflecting on how I can change them from negative>positive.
4. Fake it until you make it.
5. Repeatedly do things that make you feel good and confident.
6. Surround yourself with people that embrace you.
I guess what I want you guys to take from this ramble is that you really do need to make time to focus on you and focus on learning to love yourself for your qualities and your flaws in order to ever feel truly loved by someone else. If love is what you’re searching for then look inward, mend your own soul so it can attract others to it. Because I promise that if you give your own soul some love and kindness, you’re going to glow like the stars ✨☀
I absolutely adore this little slice of Melbourne, 🌊✨the weather is clearing up in Adelaide and it’s starting to feel like spring 🌸🌼 (probably not for long 😂) I can’t wait for the sun to start shining and allow me to go on lil adventures and enjoy those rays on my skin 🙌🏻
