Most common self-sabotaging behaviors are procrastination, self injury, comfort eating, negative thinking patterns, drugs, alcohol and many others.” • For years I struggled with self-sabotage, mostly in the form of comfort eating and checking out. It was hurtful. It’s so easy to feel discouraged when you aren’t seeing the number drop on the scale. Body composition, the new shape you’re taking on and how you FEEL are great indicators that your program is working for you 🙌🏼 Nothin crazy for me, just staying consistent and keeping portions under control. No hump day post! Just some tips and info on food 😋🍎🥦🍗 1.What we eat isn’t necessarily what we absorb or use. Our bodies have its own priorities to keep us alive BUT making whole food choices is usually the best way to go 👍🏻 2. Everyone’s microbiome ( microorganisms that live in our GI tract) is different. Just like our fingerprints! Basically everyone digests, absorbs and uses food differently. 3. Be your own health advocate! Pay attention to what you eat and how you feel after you eat. If you have a limited amount of time what should you do? Cardio or weights 🤔 My personal opinion is do circuits or full body work like kickboxing. You get the cardiovascular benefits and you’re also building strength!
