When you go see an old friend and they give you a present to keep 💘
This is an honest struggle that many people face, daily, weekly, sometimes it doesn't pop up for months. I know personally. Some days are gold some are petrified dinosaur shit.
Being honest about this, and accepting it, moving forward with baby steps is a process. Who knows if there's really an end to it.
I'm a general fuck up in life, I still am at times. I'm sorry genuinely when I fuck up. But I dedicated my life to helping others because I understand.
Why? Because I know how it feels. I also have an amazing support network of people, friends, family, professionals, a coach that's out of this world. Some people don't.
Each day when I wake up, if I feel like this, I try to be thankful for the things I have and not the mistakes I've made or may make later on in the day. No one is perfect and we are all works in progress.
Today I had to ask a favour of someone that I didn't really want to. My brain wants to turn that to guilt and paranoia. My heart says deadlift about it. So I will. 💘

#FBF Red red people @glenda502@lauraslibrary in one of the many events we did together circa 2013 this was the Newcastle Foreshore 5k that i was stoked to get a time of just over 30 mins.... When I was able to run. I didn't take those days for granted I ran and ran and jumped and skated till I couldn't anymore. Literally. The ability to carry out those simple movements is something I can only wish for at the moment. But one day when I have a spare 6 months recovery time I'll get surgery and hopefully be able to again!!!! Till then carry on. If you can do this and choose not to, I beg you to take a hard look at yourself. Use it.

Finished all her work and then ended with a ten minute hill, weighted vest, ankles and carrying 16kg. We dropped the kbs at 5 mins, the ankles at 8, the vest at 9 and she ran the last minute at 8 on a 15% incline the whole way 😍 @tnak1983 killerrrrr
