58 Update,,, figured out coil placement. Started getting them mounted. Finish installing nut-certs and then start extending the coil harness to fit
Had to change the heater core in the Z yesterday. No. Freaking. Fun. And you can still some residual flood silt left laying around 🤣 i can’t wait to fully gut this thing and start over with a blank canvas...
5th gear mud donuts on the big 472. Hopefully roll this thing into the new shop next year and get it back together. So stoked to have found another good cylinder for this thing locally. Fingers crossed the crank is still ok 🤞🏻
Small rainy day project. Tired of not having AC or working vent control in my Z because of bad vacuum pods, and the new engine won’t make enough vacuum to run them anyway. So why not get rid of the vacuum pods and replace them with servos they’re being controlled by an Arduino? I’ll just have to make a small sub-harness to go from the solenoid input to where it’ll just plug in to a sub-harness on the Arduino instead of cutting up my harness. I think the hardest thing will be the coding since i don’t know cap all about that. What’s the worst that can happen?
Weird flex, but ok.
Not going to be able to swap heads this weekend but enjoy looking at some freshly machined goodness that once was warped mighty ugly
Still probably my all time best purchase.
