Civilex Operations Manager Matthew Gurney joined the company in 2015 as Construction Manager. During this time Matt has witnessed the transformation of the Victorian-based civil construction company rise from a small company with just eight engineers to a company that today employs more than 60 engineers. Matt has had a lot to do with this transformation.

Civilex has been awarded safety improvement works on a 20km-stretch of the Geelong-Bacchus Marsh Road forming part of the Victorian government’s #TowardsZero initiative. Works include shoulder widening, centreline safety barriers, installation of left-hand side flexibility safety barriers at several high-risk locations and construction of a new roundabout.
