Nothing like starting your day with a bit of cardio kickboxing. Because it’s a stress reliever like no other. And also because it’s just a fun way to burn some calories. Do you live cardio kickboxing?
This morning a friend posted a super cute meme. It said “if you needed a sign, here it is. Go workout!” .
Ok. First. Loved it. .
But then was thinking. Why not be your own sign. Why not make one for you and post it where you can see it? .
Heck. Post it on social and maybe inspire someone else to do the same. .
The point is. There won’t always be a sign. There won’t always be someone to kick your booty. YOU are your best motivator. YOU are your best cheerleader. .
Dreams come true when you work for them. So work it. For you. For the pride. For your soul. For your booty! Lol. .

THANK GOD Monday is ooooovaaaahhhh! Today was so much better! Smoother projects. Way less email. And, still just as yummy. .
Meals were on point. But, strangest thing happened: I swear I packed a bag of greens for my lunch, when I got there though, they were no where to be found. Not in the car either. Not in the fridge when I got home. So crazy. Ever happened to you? .
Strawberry smoothie bowl started the day off awesome. Added some veggies to lentil soup along with a good swirl of hot sauce and had a side of sliced cucumbers with that and half a fresh made pumpkin bandana muffin. For dinner, I tried out a new seasonal crust from Trader Joes: Butternut squash. Such a great way to hide the veggies! Topped it with spicy sausage and tomato and made a side of garlic roasted broccoli and cauliflower - topped with pepperonis and water chestnuts. Yeah random. So good and a little crunchy. Plus, of course there was a yogurt bowl. Such a sweet yummy treat. .

GREAT NEWS!!!! Earlier this year I got the chance to try out a meal plan and tracker that turned out to be 95% what I would have written myself and what I already advise all my VIP gals to do anyway. Holy cow. I was blown away at the difference it made. So excited about the tools provided. And impressed with the recipes given as samples.
So. When the opportunity to become certified to coach it came up, this momma juuuuumped!
After using it. After studying and attempt a live q+a... this happened:

Invited myself to a lifting party today! Totally killed my back and biceps. Seriously felt like my arms just might actually fall off. Super glad that I got out the 5lb weights for the last set of curls. Because there’s no way of old have even done one more Witt the 8lb ones. Yikes!
I think I might regret this morning later.

Yesterday I wrote about living. Like really loving your life. More than going through the motions or just doing what needs to be done.
Today I’m wondering if you’re giving hose things you chose your all. I mean there’s doing the dishes and then there’s SCRUBBING the dishes. Does that make sense?
Dang I hope so!
It’s our choice to put our whole heart into what we are working on or through.
Where is your heart today? Are you feeling the thing you’re working on? Does it set your soul on fire? It might not. It might be one of those “necessary evils” of life. But maybe, maybe it benefits someone else that you love and it therefore deserves more love or effort on your part. Or it makes the time you’re spending on it so totally worth it.
So. Are you giving it your all?
My little helper is cuter than yours! Ok. Not really. I’m sure yours is adorbs too. But I kinda love this one a lot! Teaching her the basics warms this mommas heart. Even if she doesn’t (almost ever) even want tot try what we eat. Lol. Do you have a little helper in the kitchen?
Back to the weights today for a Monday morning sweat session. Half weights. Half HIIT. All good calorie scorching, stress relieving goodness. If I had known how nutty the office was gonna be, I might have switched it up to a kick boxing session. Lol. What did you do for your sweat session today?
To me, music is life. It reflects the sounds of the times, brings up memories, fills you with joy, brightens your day and can also bring up such sadness. Crazy. In a little 3 minute segment how many emotions can be felt!
At the concert on Saturday night, Dierks Bentley reminded us all to LIVE. And not just keep living. But. Really. LIVE.

I’m guilty of going through the motions sometimes. Getting into ruts. And just letting things happen.
The days when I feel most accomplished, most happy, the most fulfilled are the day as when I get out of that and make things happen!
Today I challenge you to LIVE.
Omg. You’d never know that just a few hours before this it was posting rain on so. Cal. But where there’s sun and a pool, this kid wants in! What did you do today?
I did bear crawls! Still modifying burpees, but this is a step in the right direction for sure.
Don’t give up! Modify while you heal and you will totally get there! Yeah it still hits sometimes. But everyday feels a little better.
Make yourself proud... keep pushing.

Last night I was chatting with one of my sis in laws and was soooo so inspired by her enthusiasm and the pure joy she is finding and reveling on in her new job. She told me she wakes up excited for the wins and struggles of the day.
For the struggles? Yeah. The struggles! She said that’s when she learns the most. When she feels he most challenged and the most successful.
Isn’t that awesome? Dang. I sure think so!
So. Seriously. Be excited for the hard stuff coming your way. You will learn. You will grow. You’re gonna be an even better you!
Fridays are for chocolate and fun! Yeah. Chocolate for breakfast at a training meeting. A big veggies and tuna salad for lunch. A green + chocolate snack bar. AND THEN boom…. super quick dinners: fresh made avocado spread, mustard and ham on sprouted bread with green beans on the side. Last snack was of course yogurt and fruit.
This momma loves sweets. Leaving fruit to the end of the night (and having a super healthy chocolate option in my happy tummy mix) helps to curb my sweet tooth so much.
Keeping it simple and clean today, all day, is the goal. It doesn’t always happen. And that’s ok.
