We went to @vegandalefestival on Sunday and I was so happy to see how much it’s grown! I attended the opening 4 years ago and it was maybe 3rd of the size as it was this past wkd. It’s only going to continue to expand! ➡️Swipe to see some of the delicious food! @email@example.com
We took the ferry to Ward’s island yesterday and walked by this hidden little house. There were many cute lil homes secluded, away from the hustle of the city, with minimal reception, and the vibe was peaceful. I’m curious to know the kind of people who live here as each home was so original and interesting. I wonder what made them choose this unique lifestyle..
We had an amazing dinner @mythologydiner. It’s been on my list for so long and we finally got to experience it. We ordered a bunch of items off the menu. Pictured here is the double bacon cheese burger. I highly recommended. The squash Mac & cheese dish was also really tasty. We received a free ice cream pancake and Vegandale tickets as we spent over $20 on our mains (I clearly ordered two mains..). Wkd special. Thx @dougmcnish!
Bike ride to Port Credit. 50KM. Hot, humid, amazing. I find that #Toronto has the best bike paths esp along the waterfront. I’ve never really had issues biking in the city or outside, except for the odd road rager. My fav route is along the lakeshore path. 🚴♀️🚴♀️💨💨💨
The triathlon peeps! I used to train and race a few years ago and I loved every moment of it. I had to slow down as I had bad knee issues. I figure skated for 10+ years of my life and I was always a runner. The impact of the ice and cement eventually caught up! I’ve done physio, acupuncture, and everything in between but they’ll never be the same. I still run but I limit my distance and I want to run in my late years so I have to maintain. 🏊♀️🏃🏼♀️💨💨🚴♀️
I sure like the taste of fermented grapes. 🍇🍇🍇🍇 #grapejuice
I’ve always valued friendships. Some of my closest friends range from early twenties to late sixties. Age was always irrelevant to me. If I have a connection with you in some way, that’s enough for me. 🌸
I find that over time it becomes harder to maintain friendships as people either move away, go back to school, are deep in their careers, or they’re busy with family. Priorities shift. I’ve never taken that personally. It can take serious effort and I find we easily brush it aside and continue on with our lives. 🌼
If you’re thinking of someone and haven’t spoken to them in awhile, just send them a message, a simple little note, or call them (do ppl still do that?). 🌸
What a great weekend for sports. We had the World Cup. I was cheering for my neighbouring eastern european country, Croatia. It was a good fair game and France did very well. Did you watch the game? What did you think of it? Then we had the Wimbledon championship. I missed parts of it as I was watching soccer. And now back to the Indy races. Happy Sunday! ⚽️🎾🏁@hinchtown
Bye, bye Miss American Pie, Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry...
The best veggie burgers can be found @stlawrencemarket, downstairs at a cute little Ukraine booth. No eggs, plant based, made with fresh ingredients. I also love the taste of bbq food, esp bbq veggies. So simple to grill. A little bit of olive oil, dash of salt and pepper and you’re good. No need to add anything to the pineapple. 🌽🍍🍍 #plantbased#crueltyfree
HAPPY CANADA DAY!! I moved here when I was 2 years old and I’m so thankful that my parents made this choice. Lots of love for this country! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
It was my mom’s birthday yesterday and we decided to do a bbq potluck and so I made pasta salad, potatoes and guac but also bought these cute little desserts from @sorelleandco. I thought it would be more fun to try a variety than just having one type of cake. It’s my fav bakery shop and it’s all plant based, soy/nut and gluten free. My fav are the chocolate raspberry donut (BIR) and the blueberry cheesecake (TH). I highly recommend checking out this cute bake shop. 🌸✨ #iwrappedthepresents#stickersgalore
Happy #Pride wkd!! 💛 The street parties are always so much fun! 🎉✨🌟🎉✨🌟
In less than 2 months I get to marry this man!! 📯✨🌟
I’ve been to many weddings and organized major events in the past and so I decided to take on the role as wedding planner. We’ve picked an amazing beautiful outdoor venue (tent included), with classically trained musicians, and incredible food... but most importantly, an open bar. 🍸🍹We’ve decided not to do a wedding cake or cupcakes as we’re not big on cake, and I find that it gets wasted and so we’ve modified it with something better.. More details to be posted after our big day!
As a guest, what is your fav part of the wedding??
Chocolate pudding with sour cherry on top! Four ingredients: zucchini, cacao, pinch of corn starch and sugar. ✨✨✨✨✨✨
