Yesterday I was thinking about a conversation with my aunt that I had during the last Presidential election. We strongly disagreed with the other one’s choice but we were kind to one another during the discussion and even laughed at the end of our talk as the realization came over us that we weren’t going to agree.
That was our last conversation before she died. I had no idea of the events in her life that would follow. And I’m so grateful that was how our last conversation went.
When I think of our country I hope no matter how each of us voted yesterday that those elected and all that we voted on will move forward with integrity, honesty, and kindness. Our world needs it. ❤️🌎 📸 by me 😊
I read something recently about our bodies and if we treated our bodies like our home how different that could be for us in such a powerful and life changing way.
This idea left me wondering what my life would be like. What my health would be like now and in the future if I switched perspectives.
What if we changed and instead of judging ourselves for every perceived flaw we treated our bodies like a safe haven. Somewhere we could rest. A place we could find peace and love. Our lives would be so different.
So today I’m grateful for my home. My body.
