Been taking some much needed time off from work which gave me more time to focus on my family, read, meditate, and pursue personal challenges 🏃🏼♂️🚴🏽♂️. We’ve been really enjoying our newborn Afía and our older daughter Analia has taken her role pretty seriously being an older sister. Can’t believe that today marks one month since she was born!!! This morning, just like most, I witnessed Analia showing Afía her toys, read a book to her, and brushed her hair softly, then followed by a sweet kiss on the forehead. This melts my heart. So thankful for what God has given me. Hope all of you are doing well.
We’ve been keeping a little secret all to ourselves for the last few days 🤗 our newest blessing to the family. Baby Girl!! Afía Karpenko
We are so happy for this new chapter in our lives.
Received some pretty film scans from a wedding in Bellevue. When scouting for a location, I instantly felt in love with this spot as it reminded me of similar gardens in Europe. So classy!
Film Scanned: @photovisionprints#contax645#fuji400h I love how film always brings out consistent and true colors, making this moment a timeless one!!
Just want to take a moment and thank everyone here for the support, likes, and kind words that I’ve received throughout the years. I get lots of dm’s in regards to locations... equipment I use... my Family.. life...etc. Big thanks to all of my clients who put their trust in my art and vision of documenting moments that will hopefully last for generations to come. Thank you!!
I don’t usually have or post too many photos of me since Most of the time I’m the one hiding behind the camera myself 🙈📷 here I am, again, behind the camera 😅
Recently I’ve been reminded about the importance of slowing down and re-focusing some of my priorities. In such a fast paced society it can be such a challenge to do that, especially with all the responsibilities and “expectations” that we set for ourselves. Sometimes I wish the day had 28 hours instead of 24 so that a few more things can get accomplished. And then I am grateful for great reminders we find in the scriptures where we are called to trust God and rest in His presence. This image taken a few weeks ago of my wife reminds me of grace and the importance to slow down. Cannot wait to print this and have it in our home as a constant reminder. How is your life? What have you learned or have been reminded of recently?
