Resilience IPA — round two — at Strum Brewing Co. in Ontario. As a plus, got handed a cat when I approached the bar. 😸

Getting my first taste of Resilience IPA at Escape Craft Brewery in Redlands. Also available now (or soon) at about two dozen other #InlandEmpire breweries. Proceeds benefit Camp fire relief.

Well, lookie here...giving Del Taco's veggie Beyond Taco — as well as a Beyond Meat Del Combo burrito — a try. Now available in Loma Linda and Menifee. #GoVeg

Strolled Redlands Market Night, thinking of getting pizza. 🍕 Ended up with a delicious chicken curry and rice from Curry Leaf.

Wednesday's Plan B lunch with @worldfoodtraveler: A trio of corn and chipotle chicken street tacos at The Cutting Board in the San Bernardino DoubleTree.

Had a little surprise waiting for me when I got to work today...a couple of bombers of Garage Brewing Co.'s seasonal offering, Holidation, a Belgian-style strong ale. Clocks in at 9.4% ABV. Look for details in next week's column.

Got the night off, so I'm treating myself to dinner and a movie at the Rialto Cinemark. Food is good and reasonably priced, especially considering the location. You can also dine here without seeing a movie.

Post-Tuba Christmas eats at Simmzy's in Burbank. I got a flight of their beer and a shrimp po' boy. My friend ordered today's special, the pozole rojo. Cheers! 🍻

The Gingerbread Shop is always a welcome sight! Welcome back to the Festival of Lights!

Was planning to go somewhere else, but ended up going to Farmers Boys when I realized I had a deal for $3 chili cheese fries waiting for me in their app. I'd been wanting to try their chili cheese fries with their new fries, so that sealed it. However, I think I got the last order of fries from the Loma Linda location. 🍟 #SorryNotSorry

Finally getting around to trying Cheesewalla's brick-and-mortar location, now that it's literally two doors down from work. Delish!

Raising Cane's is raising funds for local animal welfare organizations through sales of calendars and plush toys. Here in San Bernardino, proceeds will benefit the Yucaipa Animal Placement Society.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I love a good Cobb salad! I shooby dooby'd down to the Ruby's Diner in Palm Springs for this beauty, piled high with fresh ingredients. 😋
