I was born with this ability to see something more, and I spent my entire life running from it. I have never in any way shape or form been what would or could be considered normal, I’ve tried every drug, starved myself to the point of emaciation, and rolled with every crowd, but no matter how hard I tried to pretend, it never felt right. I always had this belief that a person was just a person. I never understood how a skin color, gender, or religion, or sexual orientation could make someone different, or less equal. I still don’t. I see discrimination and hear it, and it angers me. Not because it’s the “politically correct” new way to be, but because that’s what I was born believing. There has been times where I have ignored it, and there have been times I have fought it. But can I ask you a question? How many rich men and women do you see fighting about racism? Just look at the famous rich black man rocking his maga hat smiling and shaking hands with our white bigot president. Now let me ask you this question, do you think it would make any difference to either one of those men, if my poor white ass, or your poor ass of any color, gender, or religion were to die? But if something we did affected their money, how would that change the story. See, racism is real, and rampant, and they like it that way. For one it keeps people divided, and divided is weak. Second it keeps people distracted, too busy to see what’s really going on. The truth is the only real thing that divides us is $$$$. Rich or Poor. There was an article I read the other day that said people are better off being born wealthy, than gifted. Look at the idiot running our country, do you believe this is true? I’m white, I’m poor, but I’m more...I am ever so flawed but I am not like them. No matter your race, your gender, or sexual orientation, I am you and you are me. So what ever it is you may be labeled then I wear that label too, because we are all the children of God, we are all Human. And it was never intended to be any other way.
