I shared this post a few months ago, but as many of you asked me what changes in my diet were the hardest, I thought it would be good to share it again! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ - Quitting sugar has been one of the hardest challenges of my journey. My family owns a bakery and I have been surrounded by sweets since I was born. After a few failed attempts of quitting sugar I finally said goodbye to it about a year ago. Unfortunately, Christmas and the holiday season came with too many "cheat days".. Now I am back to a strict "no sugar diet" and it is being a reminder of how hard it was for me to quit it. When I started I thought it was gonna be easy, but soon I realised I was addicted to it and that I could hardly sleep because I was craving sweets... It was a hard challenge and I can imagine it is (or has been) hard for many of you too, so I thought it would be a good idea to share my experience. . I love filling the space and home with plants, not only for decoration, but also to benefit from them. For the kitchen, my favourite are Basil, Coriander and Mint (the easiest plant to take care of and you can add it to salads, juices and teas!!). For my bedroom, my favourite are plants that help me sleep. Some of those are Aloe Vera, Ivy and Snake Plant (all super easy to take care of!). . A year (and 6days) ago I opened this Instagram page and it has been an amazing journey. When I opened this account I was dealing with constant pain from Endo, I knew how diet could benefit me and had benefited me in the past, but I was having too many "cheat days". I had lost my motivation. I took the decision to start 'Endospoon' so I could get my motivation back but, to my surprise, I ended up being helpful to other girls and women who had also lost their strength. . That little (and big) bump that comes and goes.. you know what I am talking about? After one of my last stories, many of you reached out to me asking me if I had any tips to get rid of my #endobelly. I answered some of you through DM, but I thought it would be great to share some of my tips and you can also share yours on the comments. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ - So here we go... - HEAT! Yes, heat pad, hot water bottle, ANYTHING! It does not directly reduce the inflammation but it does help me feel less bloated and relax my muscles. - TURMERIC. I like to have it in teas or lattes. It helps reducing inflammation; my tip is not to only have it when you are bloated, but to include it in your diet regularly to PREVENT inflammation. - GINGER & LEMON.
