So proud of your dedication to your training and your amazing progress, well done Mark ! “I joined F45 Kew on Day 1 – the day before that I had spoken to Stella and she invited me along. I had “ballooned” to nearly 90kgs (on a slight frame) and I knew I needed to get back into some semblance of shape. I was immediately struck by the energy and the excitement in the studio and quite frankly I needed a bit of that to get me going. Since then I can honestly say that it is the combination of the friendship of all the people at F45, the gentle competition between members and the fresh challenges from each of the workouts that keeps me going; the weight loss and change in body shape is great, the increase in strength and agility is fantastic, but most of all I know that I am setting a positive example for my daughters.
✖️What do you love most about F45 Kew ?
I love the positive attitude that everyone shows – trainers and F45ers – it really sets me up for the day. It seems everyone takes the training seriously, but not themselves…I love it.
✖️Fave F45 session?
Bit of a fan of Hollywood (since it was my first ever session), but VarSity is a great heart-starter, too. And I miss the Mkats plank!✖️Future fitness goals?? I am embarrassed on the chin-ups bar – I’d like to reach double figures. And I’d like to set a better target in the Playoffs…
✖️Burpees ?? Love or hate ? “Love” is a strong word for burpees – but I love what they do for me! ✖️What are you most proud of within your new fitness journey?
Maintaining the momentum of training – the weight loss is great but for me the joy has been staying injury-free so that I can really enjoy training and show my girls that you are never too old.
✖️Interesting facts about you ?
I have lived in 8 countries over my lifetime (and at one time could speak 4 languages)
I once did a solo 24-hour, 117 km fundraiser for the Relay for Life 😳😳 Wow !! What a fabulous journey ✔️✔️ #f45kew

Yum yum yum ! You can still have your cookie and eat it too 😝 Looking for a healthy afternoon treat ? Look no further than these Challenge friendly Almond Butter Oat Cookies
1/4 cup almond butter
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 egg white
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/3 cup gluten-free self-raising flour
1 tbsp. chia seeds
1 tbsp. pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup melted organic butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. coconut sugar
2 tbsp. natvia or 1 tsp. stevia
Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper
Add the oats, flour, baking soda, natvia, sugar, pumpkin seeds and chia seeds in a bowl and combine
Mix through the almond butter, organic butter, extract and egg white until a doughy texture is formed
Evenly divide the mixture into five piles. Roll each pile in the palm of your hand creating a ball. Place on the tray and using the back of a spoon press down to flatten the cookie. Repeat for the remaining mixture
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until cooked in the middle
