Regram from @huffpostwomen - Amazing! 🔸 In North Dakota’s state Capitol on Monday, Ruth Buffalo stood in the chambers with her hand raised and made history as the first Native American Democratic woman to be sworn into the state’s legislature. 🔸 “It’s part of my identity and who I am,” Buffalo said of the traditional clothing. “It was to honor my ancestors, those that have gone before me, and the future generation.” (📷: Lea Black Photography)

We saw this on Twitter and had to share...

Did you know there is an Indigenous women's #craftshow happening on the 15th at the @nac.cna!? Admission is free! ❤️❤️❤️

The Schmooze wrote an article yesterday about how Lena Dunham published an essay and quietly, about half way through it, admitted she lied to cover for a Girls writer who is being accused of rape. That she had some kind of "secret insider knowledge" as to why it wasn't true. The woman was 17 at the time. She is a woc. Lena Dunham makes me so sick. She gives feminism a bad name. She is peak #whitefeminist. I could go on with all the other shitty things she's done, but I need to get to work. #fucklenadunham

Regram from @guardian_us - "The death of George HW Bush has led to an outpouring of tributes by a range of public figures, from Barack Obama and Donald Trump to Ellen DeGeneres and Arnold Schwarzenegger. But not everyone has been celebrating the 41st president's life. Some members of the LGBT community partly marked Sunday's #WorldAidsDay, which coincided with the news of Bush’s death, by voicing their criticism of the way he handled the AIDS crisis as vice president under Ronald Reagan and subsequently as president. For years his administrations failed to address the epidemic, and he even blamed victims as the disease continued to claim tens of thousands of lives. The government’s inaction led to fierce protests by the campaign group AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power (Act Up). As well as smearing blood on the White House gate, they also poured the ashes of their friends and lovers who had died of AIDS onto the White House lawn. — Quote sources: Twitter, Out.com interview, 1992 presidential debate. Regram from @theresgoodinstore - " It’s a season of giving! Take some time to give to yourself. Maybe it’s a big dose of grace or forgiveness. Maybe it’s a night off from anything useful. Maybe it’s ditching Christmas cards this year. 💕 Feeling rested, calm, and joyful is a gift that keeps giving." #motivationmonday
