I call this one "Ode to the Blueberry Muffin": O, blueberry muffin!
How your pastry doth sustain me.
Your care was given to me
So I may feed you to the goats
In the 2 minute walk to their pen
I could not resist your crumbs
Now your remains lay crusted upon my face
In eternal remembrance of your taste
And there they will stay
At least until my bath tonight
And though I will mourn your loss
We will be reunited in the morning
For no breakfast is complete without you
Until then, sleep tight, sweet love
Sleep tight, and goodnight ❤
If you hug a tree in the forest, does it feel the love?
It was cold enough this morning to wear gloves and a flannel while trail shredding. Also, due to gloves, I took this photo with my nose so pretty proud.
Fact of the day: if you cut open unripe horse apples, the inner juices will stain your hand
Spent the weekend camping at Mission Tejas State Park. Didn't takes a lot of pictures, was too busy making memories. 10/10 would recommend this part of the Davy Crockett National Forest.
Sometimes you need a bird's eye view
First hint of coolness in the air for fall and basic white girls be like "I made homemade chicken stew!"
Last ABQ post for awhile as I returned to Texas last night. I stayed at a hostel (yes dad, I'm still alive) right on Route 66, which was just one great part of the experience. The rest are just pictures that I took while there.
I had planned to spend my last enchanted morning hiking in the mountains (my fav place to be) but torrential downpour/flood watch last night and this morning prevented me. So I just found a little coffee shop in Old Town Plaza. Not a bad trade-off but Sandia Mountains, I will be back for you.
