Is Cinque Terre in Italy the most beautiful place on earth? It's quite possible...
'Venice - is there a more romantic and unique city anywhere in the world? I just learned today that 'The Floating City' is actually made up of over 100 little islands that are connected by all these beautiful bridges we've loved walking over, boating under, and exploring around today.
Taking a Camel ride in the sand dunes of Maspalomas was an Adventure! This is Simon, our camel guide for the day 😆 Then we spent the afternoon on an Adventure of a different kind, an 11 station Spa circuit with everything from a Himalayan Salt cave to a saltwater floating pool (craziest feeling!!) to an ice igloo with a snow shower to a eucalyptus steam sauna. Perfect way to end the day!
These pictures are of Tejeda, a little village at the top of the mountains - up the craziest, windiest, tiniest roads you've ever seen, you climb like 6,000 feet what feels like almost straight up, and are rewarded with the most picturesque town with all white homes, sitting at the top of the mountain. Beautiful hiking with incredible views!!
Seriously one of the coolest places I've ever been! This is a little village of cave-homes literally built right into the cliff side, a whole community. Many of them have been there their whole lives, this farmer we met was born in one of the caves and now has his own farm there in terraces on the mountainside, along with over 80 beehives he takes care of. The only difference is that now they have electricity where they didn't when he was growing up. So cool!
Barranco de Guayadeque on Gran Canaria, Spain
NBD...just the view of the little hamlets and fields from the plane as Melissa flew into London. We need to start a game of “Where is Melissa now.”
Who else wishes they were eating some European pastries with Melissa right now?? I do! I love experiencing the food and culture in new places. It just adds to the adventure.
Old church in the town square of Dresden, Germany - the church bells were ringing, calling the townspeople to come and worship. The buildings are so ornate and incredible!
