Hiked and camped our way through the backcountry of Joshua Tree Nat'l park via the California Riding & Hiking Trail. @i.rose.c and I prepped for this thru-hike for months, only to find ourselves rolling with the punches for the entire three days and two nights. πŸ˜… Due to minor injuries and time constraints, we decided to exit the trail 10 miles from the end. That's a 27.5-mile mix of breathtaking desert views, heat exhaustion, wildlife, high winds, blisters, remoteness, kindness of strangers, and so on. Hitchhiked back to town and lived to tell the tale. πŸ˜† Until next time!
