“In my life, I have given a fu*k about many people and many things. I have also not given a fu*k about many people and many things. And like the road not taken, it was the fu*ks not given that made all the difference. - - Mark Manson, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life. I’ve been listening to a lot of different podcasts lately and learning more about what ignites other female entrepreneurs to take the leap and start something on their own. I find this topic so fascinating, as I love learning about other successful females and their business ventures. It inspires me to try to do something as well! PS - would love some more podcast recommendations! Have one?! Let me know :) Full blog post is on my website. #linkinbio 📷: @vancouverprgirl
Now more so than ever I find my mind swirling with a ton of ideas and new things that I would like to try. However, I realize that I have a tendency to do this to myself. That is… I consider all of these possibilities and things that I want to create, yet I don’t dedicate the time to make any dreams a reality. It’s not that I don’t want to. It’s that I have a lot of fear. Check out my latest blog post for the full story. 📷: @vancouverprgirl

Some would say confidence comes with age or that some are born with it. Confidence isn’t walking into a room and thinking you’re better than everyone else. Confidence is walking into a room not having to compare yourself at all. #confidenceisbeautiful
After the wedding I was ready for another change! I guess I felt like a new look for this new phase of my life. I decided to chop my hair and ended up cutting 12 inches off (thank you @a.m.p_styles!). I donated my hair to @locksofloveofficial who accepts coloured hair. This was my second time donating and second time chopping it all off. I highly recommend doing it! There’s nothing like it. #newdo
I’m half Italian and half East Indian and raised Sikh. I had a traditionally-modern Indian wedding as I like to call it. Here I’m doing the Jago! The Jago is a fun and festive dance full of energy and celebration! It’s meant to get the bride, groom, family and friends into the right mood for the wedding. #indianwedding
Growing up there was always a party to attend and an Indian party always, always means that there will be dancing. I used to be so shy and didn’t want people to laugh at my attempt to dance. Or wonder who that white girl was trying to do the bhangera. My grandma once told me that if I admired someone’s ability to command the dance floor that I should try my best to imitate them and that’s been my go-to ever since. Now - - you can’t get me off the floor. Really, my grandmas advice wasn’t just about moves on a dance floor. Her advice was something I could apply to everyday life after all: “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”
The planning process for my wedding truly felt like I had taken on another full-time job. I mean, it became the one thing that I would do before and after my actual 9-5 job.
From everything to sourcing images of inspiration, to researching vendors to attending consultation appointments - it just felt like my list never ended! Head to the blog for the full story! PS - this photo is one of my faves. This restaurant sign is more than just a sign - it speaks to my Italian culture and I think it’s obvious how happy our souls really are. #indianwedding#halfer
If you've followed along with me before, you would have noticed that I took a bit of a hiatus and I feel terrible about it. I had a great excuse though. I was planning my wedding!
If you know anything about weddings, its that they are time-consuming, stressful and well just simply a lot of work. This was also an Indian wedding which typically takes one to two years to plan out (mine was just over a year of planning)! For the full story head to my blog! #life
I know I’ve said it before but I’m going to say it again. I’m backkkkk!!! After too long of a hiatus I’m sharing my first blog post since getting married! Head to the blog to read more and catch up with me. Who wants to see wedding pictures?! #imback
