Try it slowly and breathing on each movement 5 reps each side, 2-3 set with 60sec rest. The grab rail flow. It’s good to train a high level athlete and give to him a different movement to see how his body will reacts in parts of stabilisation, joints centration, breathing and mobilisation. He is a BJJ Black belt and a surfer lover. It was fascinating how the central nervous system was reacting (shaking the muscles) to try to stabilise the position to obtain a hip and thoracic mobility in the same time. Next step from the last exercise I posted. The dead bug but with control, core activated and applying force towards to the Ball with opposites limbs. Drop 1 hand and 1 leg in the same time slowly keeping the back flat with core activated and put pressure between the hand and the foot in the ball for couple of seconds, and change. Try 5 reps each side slow with good control for 3 sets with 60s rest between sets. A simple core work can effect and helps in all different ways. Try it, activate the core and apply pressure with your limbs into the ball, right hand to left foot, left hand to right foot. Just apply for few seconds to the time the fatigue comes. Use it or lose it. This advice is correct, anatomically, physiologically, and neurologically.
