This morning I hit ‘send’ on an email to my publishers containing the final version of my book manuscript and I’m celebrating by spending this glorious spring day in the country.

It was (very nearly) freezing this morning, so I heated up some lamb, white bean and veg soup for lunch.

No photo of our picnic lunch today but one of the park where we are instead. Soaking up the glorious sunshine while the kids rolled repeatedly down the hill!!

Had to make 2-hour round trip to my work on my day off - with 4yo in tow - so we had a small picnic in the sun with this amazing salad from @grindstonekitchen

Might start posting my lunches as a little reminder to myself to make the effort to eat something other than cheese on toast! Today’s insta-worthy bowl: freekeh, kale, pumpkin and chili tuna with some pecans on top.
