Today we went on an adventure. I decided to take Axel for a walk into the nudgee reserve, this boardwalk and and reserve have been a big part of me growing up, from collecting shells at low tide to bring home for the garden to going crabbing off the boardwalk. He loved it so much, we saw lots of baby mud crabs, jelly fish, we saw a moon slug and learnt alot about tidal creeks and some of the native birds from the information signs along the way. We might do it a little more often. ♥ ☀ 🐚
Super proud of himself today. He's been relentless with this medicine ball trying to pick it up and today he finally got it properly. His determination is so wonderful to watch. I'm pretty sure he'll be coaching me in 20 years.
And also can't forget the smash dummy. A couple of hugs and few pats for its good work. 😂
I just have to accept that these are the only kinds of pictures I can get of Axel now, because getting him to stand still lasts 0.01seconds.
Today we went to south bank to check out the Brisbane festival, our day was also topped with watching two teenagers getting spear tackled one by a fellow citizen and the other a meter away from a cop, that was exciting. We walked all the way from the parklands to Adelaide street cultural centre, had a nap on the bus and now it's time to chill out. ✌
