Sometimes health and fitness is about knowing when not to move and when to rest, what to read, and letting yourself stay in bed longer than usual. Today, I gave myself two hours to read my new book 📖 gifted By the amazing @thisislifeoutloud called: “More than 🕯 Candles” This book discusses Hygge, our human need to go inward in the wintertime. How to create cozy environments, supporting ourselves during the darker months of the year. Perfect timing for me to embrace the loving chapter of my life here in Buffalo, as I’m new to this cold and I’m going to cozy up, cuddle up, and rest like a pro this year! #lazysundays#hygge#warm#cozyhome#comfortableanywhere#morethancandles#scandinavianlifestyle
When I danced with Lady Gaga
The year was 2008. I had never heard of Lady Gaga before. I know this sounds ridiculous. But if you ask anyone who knows me, I am always a little behind on pop culture. I stick to my MJ and Madonna playlists when I get the feeling I need a little pop in my life. So, here I am dancing at a nightclub called The Bank in The Bellagio Hotel in #LasVegas.
I was told by the club manager that there was going to be a special guest coming in that night and a few of us where going to go up on this platform behind the artist and get to dance with the special guest. Now, let me make this clear, technically, I was not one of Lady Gaga’s dancers, she had already brought two of her own hired dancers with her to do this performance which required rehearsals, however, we were (three of us) were with her when she did this jaw dropping performance that night. She was incredible, so athletic, climbing up this wall that had a fence drilled to it. Little did I know that I was able to dance with a movie star that fun night.
