Jurong Bird Park was first conceived 50 years ago, to provide a space for Singaporeans to escape from urban life and relax with nature. With its large and immersive free-flight aviaries, the park is a haven for almost 3,500 birds across 400 species, of which 20% are threatened. The park is committed towards conservation through its breeding efforts, public engagement programmes, and also by being the only park in the Asia Pacific with an Avian Hospital
