There was a discussion in one of my groups this morning that really struck a chord with me ๐Ÿ’• It centered around the sometimes tricky and emotional ๐Ÿ˜ญ rollercoaster that can come with making a change & healthier choices ๐ŸŒฑ Do you feel guilt if you allow yourself a treat? Do you give up if you have one bad meal or day or weekend? ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ I have gotten a MUCH better handle on it by making healthy choices a lifestyle for me but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that every "cheat" I didn't feel guilty. Every. Single. One. โ˜น๏ธ It's so annoying. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ซ Even though I know I can get back on track sooooo easily I still have that voice in my head judging ๐Ÿ˜  (I seriously need to slap ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป that B๐Ÿ–•๐Ÿป) I also tend to let one poor meal bleed into two or a whole day or weekend. Then I'm REALLY feeling guilty. ๐Ÿ’” One of the ways I've been able to break that cycle is plan ahead and allow myself the treat if I KNOW it'll be worth it. Seriously, what's worse than feeling guilty over a piece of cake ๐ŸŽ‚ that was kinda crappy anyway?! ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ I'm telling you this because I'm not perfect. WE are not perfect. The thing is, you can deal with all this ๐Ÿ’ฉ by yourself but you don't have to! ๐Ÿ‘ญThat's one of the reasons my groups are so awesome ๐Ÿฆ„ ๐ŸŒˆ we're all here, lifting you UP.
