I saw this photo on the Winnipeg Free Press today. Credit to @kalbarteski for the [fabulous] art. Myriad of reasons to take down the barriers... none to leave them up. If for one reason, ONE person only. Ed. Let’s get our loved ones out from underground where help is minutes away IF a camera catches an act of violence. A whole world of hurt can be inflicted in the time it takes for security to attend. Of course, there are so many more reasons to remove the barriers... but the one I care about the most works long hours and is left vulnerable when left underground. #winnipeg#portageandmain#winnipegfreepress#outwiththeold#kbscript
Someone hurt his paw. Someone is sulking because he didn’t see Holder but he SMELLS Holder on my clothes. He doesn’t love wearing things but he’s happily sporting this sweet bandana in honour of his good buddy, Leo. @leoandco_petshop@remi_leo_pnut@rhi_ds
Just living our best lives in PEI. Life is less frantic on the Atlantic.
We read all about YNP and still we were woefully underprepared to take in all the beauty. Our mouths hung open and we just kept doing these excited whispers “Oh my gosh, look at that!” to absolutely everything. We have been blessed with FANTASTIC weather this entire trip; a little smattering of rain in Hope, BC was all we saw that wasn’t sunny and HOT! The average temperature this trip was 33 degrees. Heatwaaaaave! When this picture was taken by a YNP ranger, we were over-the-moon delighted with the hot pools! These are BIG smiles! #yellowstonenationalpark#ynp#wyoming#blessedbethefruit#optoutside#explorewyoming#yellowstone#nps
Ah, my heart. This is Black Pool; with a temp of 185 degrees and a depth of “really deep” she’ll melt your heart with her beauty. And your flesh, if you get too close. The colours are ACTUALLY that vibrant. Look at that strip of goldenrod and orange. #yellowstone#blackpool#ynp#nps#wyoming#yellowstonenationalpark
Sometimes it’s a bit difficult for two really busy folks to learn how to “just be.” Just be still. Just be on vacation-mode. Just be in the moment. Just be patient. Sometimes it takes oysters from a truck to slow the pace and serve as a reminder. #oystertreeoflove
The long weekend crowd has cleared away and now we can enjoy this beauty. I was here nearly a decade ago, when Black Rock was still under construction. I couldn’t have imagined I’d be back, staying here, with someone like Ed.
This incredible work of art is the garage door of Ed’s dear friend, @conortopley. Connor + Michael hosted us in Vancouver and - all thanks to them - we had a magical night with Queer As Funk🎶 and tasty pizza, broke ground on my future plans, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast pre-Tofino. Delightful folks and best part of our journey so far! Vacationing is difficult when you don’t do enough of it... I’m pleased to report back that we’re figuring it out. Together.
