One of the highlights of my year was adopting my foster dog, Aspen. When I first began fostering her, she was so timid and shy. She was scared of absolutely everything and would shake uncontrollably in fear of the world. I later found out she was abused and was a stray. She was placed in a pound and was scheduled to be euthanized. Luckily, the foster care company intercepted before she was put down.
Over the past 2 months, I’ve watched her come out of her shell and become so much more outgoing and happy. It was honestly spending time with my sister’s dogs that she learned to regain trust with the world. Seeing how happy she was being surrounded by other dogs convinced us to get a second dog so she can have a friend. We now have Aspen and a teacup Yorkie named Pablo.
When 2018 first began, I never thought I’d become a dog mom, but am so happy to have these two in my life. 🐶🐕✨
Merry Christmas!! 🎄🎁
I had so much fun skiing up in Breckenridge this weekend 🎿
It’s heartbreaking to watch the news right now. My heart goes out to the victims and those affected by the wildfires. I took this photo a few months ago on one of my favorite trails. I hope people continue to evacuate and stay safe 🌅
Watched a Nirvana reunion and Joan Jett pay tribute to Kurt Cobain last night #caljam18
