I hate running. I’m just not good at it. I don’t have the correct ‘running technique’, my calves burn, I get shin splints and my breathing is so bad that I always get a stitch. But if there’s one thing I hate more, it’s not being able to do it.
So... along with some strong encouragement I pushed myself so much last night (yes...Saturday night), completed the River at 1:00:48secs and shaved off my best time by 8 minutes!!! 8 whole minutes and I’m stoked. Having a bright red face for the next 4 hours was totally worth it!
