chickenkeisha For the last few months, we’ve been fighting with feather issues. The feathers on the backs of our chickens have been breaking. I’ve always thought it was lice or mites, so that was what I was treating. After asking around, we’ve learned that it’s our roosters. And now that I know that, it seems so obvious 😂 I’m still a little in denial because I love all of our roosters so much. I’ve tried hen saddles, and they seem to make the feathers worse. Any tips besides getting rid of my sweet roos? I’m going to pull the really bad hens away from the roosters so they get some rest.
