1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin (I skipped this)
1/4 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp cayenne
1 lb chicken (I do 2-3 breasts)
4 C chicken broth/stock
2 sweet potatoes, cubed
1 head of broccoli
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalepeno (optional)
1 can coconut milk
Cilantro (optional)
1 lime (optional)
1/2 red onion (optional)

Season the chicken with all seasonings and bake at 350Β°F for 20 minutes (or until cooked), then dice. While the chicken is cooking, bring the broth to a boil, add sweet potatoes, and cook until fork-tender (about 10 minutes). Remove potatoes and set aside in a bowl. Add the garlic, coconut milk, and broccoli to the broth and continue to boil until the broccoli is tender (about 5 minutes). Then blend the broth and broccoli in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour the soup back into the pot, and add the chicken and sweet potatoes. Top with onion, cilantro, and lime juice! #SEPTEMBERWHOLE30
