Dinner last night at my aunt's house was brisket, corn bread, beans, some potato creamy casserole, and huckleberry cobbler..... 🙈 So I used the baby as an excuse to eat later than everyone else and smuggled in the lettuce (from my husband's lunch he didn't eat), the last of my ranch, and the avocado I brought along and ate it with the brisket.
Anyone else hate admitting they're on a diet? (Yes, whole30 isn't a diet, but people never understand that). I'd rather just play it cool and not have to answer a hundred questions about why I'm not eating the food they worked hard at preparing for us 😭 my plan is to keep using my kids as an excuse to be busy and hopefully people won't notice I'm not eating any pancakes this morning. This is why I brought so many snacks! 🙌🏼 day 20
