Two years ago we were travellin’ from NY to LA via the Mother Road and I found this beaut coffee cup in New Mexico that I just had to have. Too big for coffee, I never knew what to do with it until now. Currently my only pot plant I have. 🌵💚

Lunch prepped before school drop off then straight to work - that hasn’t happened too many mornings since we moved from work, usually end up going back home, must be getting the hang of it all now, finally! Super looking forward to it too!! Cos lettuce, red cabbage, free range eggs, red onion, cherry tomatoes, kimchi, cukes and haloumi and will add some avo mayo, mustard and lemon juice to dress it in. Food pics are so much prettier taken out of the smoko room. My mornings always involve a yummy cup of bone broth too 🐮

Little itty bitty sweet potato pizzas with smashed avo and sriracha sitting on a crisp lettuce leaf. Supposed to be fasting today with the onset of Summer Kickstart but just didn’t feel right today.

My food pics are so boring right now. As I intermittently fast (don’t eat breakfast/have an eating window) most of my meals are eaten in the smoko room at work, including dinner! Yes that’s right! It’s our super busy time of year at work and so we can still eat dinner together as a family I either cook at home and transport or I take all everything (including the fry pan!) and cook it there. My lunches are leftovers and boring as don’t have the time nor ‘things’ to jazz them up like I used to. I’m sure when I get more used to this style of life which is supposedly normal (as most of you I’m sure live in a house, not in a workshop apartment, and commute) my food will have that extra little bit of magic it used to have, and I’m sure with the impending commencement of @myrecal Summer Kickstart my life about to get the refinement it craves. At lease we have pink Himalayan salt, real butter and good mayo as supplies just need to do something about that dreadful instant coffee!! Until then, here’s a breakfast pic I found whilst scrolling through my phone. So please bear with me whilst I adjust to this life change and I promise things will improve in no time. But right now I’m planning my week, in my diary while I wait for a wheel alignment on my car. Always trying to make the most of downtime 👊🏼

Now I’m not a huge fan of microwave scrambled eggs, but sometimes it’s just the way it goes. This morning I added a 1/4 cup of soda water to 3 fabulous free range eggs, resulting in epic scrambled eggs. Soft and fluffy, that’s how scrambled eggs should be 🍳
