Baby Blue💙. Born on October 5th at 10:45am. .
Humans had other names picked for the four babies (they always asume they where 2 boys and 2 girls) but at some point they also thought about naming them after the Raptors from Jurassic World. In the movie only one raptor survived so they decided not to use those names.
Flash forward to yesterday morning: the four babies where delivers by C-section and although the actual surgery was successful the babies where not breathing. One of them (the biggest one) never took a big breath so even though humans continued to try to revive her they lost a little bit of hope. The other two where actually taking lots of deep breaths and one was even breathing normally but all of a sudden they stopped.
So it was just baby Blue. She had diarrhea for the first hours, so the vet was worried, she said all babies where really weak, maybe because mom was SO YOUNG and so skinny. Baby made it through the night so we are hopeful.
At the end humans decide to go with Jurassic Park names, seeing that Blue, just like her namesake in the movie is a survivor and a fighter.
Sleep peacefully Charlie, Echo and Delta. Your life was extremely short but you where alive, your existed, you mattered and we love you. ❤️
Thanks to our awesome vet @petlifepanama 💛.
Here we are at the vet with Vini. We did and X-Ray on Monday and the vet confirmed that she is really small and that one of her babies head is too big for her to deliver naturally. So today is C-Section day.
They also confirmed she is really young. Only around 10 months old.
I also went to the vet to get a shot (which by the way was painful 😖) and to get my papers ready for next weeks travels.
Swipe to see how skinny Vini is (she gained weight in this two weeks with us so you can imagine how skinny and small she was before) and to see the X-Ray.
On Monday we did an ultrasound on Vini. (My humans joked about naming her Vinicia after my grandfather, but apparently that is her actual name now)
Her due date is next Thursday! Can you guess how many babies are in the oven? 🐱

Meet our newest rescue/house guest. My humans rescued this sweet PREGNANT lady last Wednesday. She was living in a construction site near our home and my humans spent 3 days trying to catch her until they decided to buy a trap cage. They caught her in less than 5 minutes with the cage.🤦🏽♀️😂. Event though she had lived in the streets all her life she is so sweet and she is slowly getting used to living indoors.
We went to my “grandpa’s” house the other day to visit Greta. She is doing fine. She seems a little sad and she is calmer than usual, but humans are giving her lots if’s cuddles and kisses so she doesn’t feel so alone without her big sister Princesa. Also, I played with her for a while, and that made her happy.
On Tuesday this sweet old lady crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈. It was really weird because even though she was very old (so it was not so much of a surprise) she was absolutely perfect until last weekend, when she stopped eating. (Before that she was jumping, running, playing with Greta, eating a lot... she was perfect)
She was the last one of my human’s childhood dogs. She was the sweetest and most loving 18 year old girl. We will miss her and love her forever. ❤️ #Princesa#18yearsolddog#DogsShouldLiveForever#Rainbowbridge
Yesterday, I had an awesome experience for the first time. I WENT TO THE MOVIES! It was the first dog friendly screening in Panama.
My humans thought it was going to be crazy with many dogs on the same theater, but it was SO AMAZING. There where zero accidents (💩), and all the dogs where absolutely calm and silent during the entire movie. It was even quieter than a regular screening. Also, the volume of the movie was a lowered so it didn’t hurt our ears.
We hope this becomes a thing and maybe we can go to this screenings at least a few times a year.
Throwback to the very first time my humans and I met (almost 4 years ago). As an adoption requirement we had to meet days before my adoption was finalized to make sure we got along. It was love at first time, mostly for them, because I was really nervous. (The other cute dog is my former foster sister)
