Baltimore has contained hundreds of theaters since the first moving pictures flickered across muslin sheets. This Baltimore auditorium retains much of its Baroque glory. Despite more than three decades of abandonment, it’s now home to the #MarylandFilmFestival.
Our upcoming exhibition #FlickeringTreasures showcases more than 70 photos of Baltimore movie theaters by longtime @baltimoresun photojournalist Amy Davis. Opening in November.
