Only 15 minutes from central London, @walthamstowwetlands is a fully operational 211 hectare Thames Water reservoir site which is the main source of water supply for 3.5 million people. Opened to the public for the first time in 150 years, as of October 2017.
Two disused infrastructure buildings have been adapted for visitor use, providing an exhibition space, an education room, café, toilets, and a viewing platform. By #witherfordwatsonmann and #kinnearlandscapearchitects – The project was the overwhelming winner of the People's Choice Prize #NLAwards18
Perched atop a Victorian rear extension, this modern black roof extension with projecting yellow oriel window houses a new bathroom with rooftops views. Two minimal, frameless windows use switchable smart glass technology to provide daylight, views and privacy at the flick of a switch.Project by @a2studiolondon
We want to display your home extensions in the 2019 exhibition, magazine, and events, including over 100 projects every year – enter #DontMoveImprove! before Thursday 18 October

The soon-to-be new home for the London College of Fashion @lcflondon_ in Stratford, by @alliesandmorrison, is simple and robust. Open and airy, it welcomes visitors and students into the building through curvilinear concrete sculptural staircases... Hear from the architects behind the design, alongside many other speakers, at our Culture conference in September - looking at the importance of integrating culture in development and regeneration.
