𝐍𝐎𝐄𝐋 - 9% - 𝘣𝘪è𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘦𝘭
Noel is a wheat-based strong, dark farmhouse ale brewed for the holiday season. This beer has a robust grist of 9 different grains and is deep amber in color with notes of toffee, tobacco, spice, and dark fruits with a full body and dry finish.
And... as if that wasn't enough, we are also releasing...

Cletus is a strong dark farmhouse ale aged in fresh bourbon barrels with brettanomyces. There is a big bourbon character and tons of oak flavor with stone fruit and leather notes.
Both beers will be available on draft and to take-away, in both Portland and Newcastle.

Today we celebrate the 2018 release of our annual Grand Cru, Liquid Swords!
The 2018 blend incorporates select mixed-fermentation blonde farmhouse ales aged in French and American oak barrels. Liquid Swords 2018 is light gold in color with notes of citrus, stone fruit, vanilla, and oak with a moderate acidity and dry finish! To celebrate its place in Liquid Swords catalogue all day we will be pouring bottle pours of all of the Liquid Swords #Labels... 2014, 2015, 2016, 2016 Maine Blueberry Wine Edition, and 2017, will all be available by the glass along with 2018 on draft.

Tonight we help welcome Portland's newest oyster shop, @maineoystercompany, to town by participating in their "Sip & Slurp" series, 4-10pm.
Tomorrow is Liquid Swords Day! Featuring a "North v South" Brunch at @eauxportland 10am-5pm. All day we will be pouring bottle pours of Liquid Swords 2014, 2015, 2016, 2016 Maine Blueberry Wine Edition, and 2017, along with 2018 on draft at Blending & Bottling. Plus, tomorrow night our friends at @thehoneypaw will be pouring 2018 Swords on draft and will be featuring a LS special menu!
We are excited to host FARM to GLASS this Thursday from 5-8pm at Oxbow Blending & Bottling to support @mainefarms. Join us for an educational night to celebrate and learn more about Maine’s interconnected beer & farming industries. Stop by stations to interact and ask questions to local grain, malt & hop farmers. We will have presentations by grain farmers, hop growers and brewers and a panel discussion where you can ask hop, grain & malt farmers and brewer’s about the challenges of working with local product and the benefits for local economy, rural communities, and the process to create a locally produced product. You'll learn about the brewing process, the relationship between Maine farms & breweries and the importance of Maine Farmland Trust’s work in supporting & protecting farms across the state.
We will also have beer tasting flights available with all-Maine ingredients for $10 with proceeds supporting our friends at Maine Farmland Trust.

And the winner of the first annual Jumbo Oyster Jam is 🥁..... Blackstone Point Oyster with a 1.78 pound oyster!!! The oysters yesterday were added to the brew of a new beer we're calling, Merroir!
