I know you are all here for food inspiration, but today I had tacos. For lunch. And dinner. Like taco truck tacos. And you know, sometimes that’s just the way it goes. Not ideal, but reality. Tomorrow will be better.
Tonight was my 20 year high school reunion, and while I was a little hesitant to go I ended up having a great time with these 2 girls.
Friendships are special. And often we are really busy with our families and jobs and life in general and we don’t get to see eachother or talk often enough, but it’s pretty great to have friends that can pick up right where you left off. Even it’s been months or even years since you last saw eachother.
Those people are pretty special.♥️ #Friends#friendslikefamily#reunion#fun#toomanytacos#failio#trybetternexttime#paleostories#beyerhighschool#bhsalumni#classof98#classof98reunion#1998
*Every meal is an opportunity to feel better.*
Isn’t that the truth.
I saw this on a restaurant window while exploring Mendocino this weekend.
Those words really struck me, and I decided to take a photo of them.
I think I should always ask myself “Is this (insert food choice here) going to make me feel better?” If the answer is no, it should really have to be something special to eat it anyway. I bet most people would change the way they ate if they asked themselves this before eating anything.....
We were on “vacation” so my choices were up and down this weekend. I still chose to eat burgers and sandwiches without buns and tried to pick salads over other items, but I also splurged with some wine and some ice cream....🍷🍦ugh, I should not have ate that ice cream!😩
On our way home we had the opportunity to visit @rombauervineyards and it was such a treat! They were so kind and down to earth and the garden and grounds were gorgeous!
It’s back to reality tomorrow! I got some food prepped for the week so I’m ready to go!
The last two images are videos that my kiddo took of our weekend. A beautiful sunset and our trip to @bbryanpreserve 🦒
