What an amazing weekend creating content for 100 Fables. We take pride in creating content for our musical friends. Getting immersed in their lifestyle for a few days builds the trust needed to get those special shots! Flip through for a collection of our favourite photos we got of them! #glasgow#scotland#music#band#socialmediacontent
People are the life of any business. If you’re not serving them to the best of your ability, you don’t have a viable business! That’s why photography is such a great medium to show off who someone is, it puts a person right in the centre.
It’s finally live!!! Produced by us for the BBC. We got to speak to Mark about his struggles with anxiety as a music producer and 100 Fables guitarist.
Keep people at the forefront of your business and you’ll never go unfulfilled.
This is what we do. Put your products in unique situations to get them noticed. That’s it, nothing fancy.
That’s the beauty of working digitally today, you can work anywhere. You don’t need a fixed location anymore for success, in fact, the more mobile you are the better.
People get caught up with making money today. For some that’s all it is, the pursuit of gaining more.
But gaining more for yourself isn’t really fulfilling in the end, what is fulfilling though is using your skills to improve the lives of others. So yes, do the paid stuff to keep you going, but don’t forget to do the shoots that would really help people too.
You can present your products in a fancy, high production value, highly edited way - if you want.
But that may not be the way a customer actually sees it. So sometimes it’s best to just view what your selling in it’s natural state..
It was an absolute pleasure to work with the powerful @100fables recently.
So much so that we put together a little teaser of things to come. Enjoy!
When working with people who sell a specific product. That product is probably going to be sold by someone else as well.
So the objective becomes showcasing what makes a particular place unique. It’s not just the products it’s the services and surroundings which will get people interested.
So when we work with a brand we like to find what makes them different and go all in on it.
Photography, as a business, is about how good you are to work with and your results. You need both to succeed. It’s a people business and if you’re dealing with models you need to make those people feel comfortable and make yourself approachable. Any awkwardness will certainly be seen in the results.
So make people feel good and they will certainly male your pictures look so much better.
We are so lucky in Glasgow, there are a bunch of great places to take photographs. One of which is the botanical gardens.
I think people sometimes get caught up in the idea of the “model” when going on a shoot. But the location is just as important as it can keep the person viewing the picture interested for that little bit longer. That extra little bit of attention could be the deciding factor between getting selling something or not!
Sometimes life can be all about how you present yourself. Treat yourself and your things well and you end up thinking and feeling a lot better.
A real, high quality, photograph does so much more than a basic one. It’s not just the product at the end that matters though, the experience of being on the shoot itself can do wonders for a person of a business.
You’ve got to find your own piece of paradise somewhere. 📸
We’ve got something that’s a little different today. •
Black and white isn’t normally something we explore but you have to try new things! We’d love to know what you think!
