Day 50: Victoria Falls- Livingstone. Day 50 was filled with lots of adrenaline as we joined @bunduadventures on this epic white river rafting trip. (They do a great special called "test the best" that allows you to just do the first 7 rapids to make it more affordable!). Such a ridiculously cool experience.
Day 47: Wildtracks Lodge (Lower Zambezi).
We took a sunset boat ride down the mighty Zambezi, where we saw lots of wildlife on the banks of the river. This is a must do if ever you're here! Game viewing from the water is truly something special! 📷: @brandon_payne_sa
Day 42-46. Wildlife Camp-Lusaka- Lower Zambezi. We spent 3 days in Lusaka sorting out some car stuff (doesn't Big Red look beautiful) and then we headed to this amazing campsite called Wildtracks Lodge right on the banks of the Lower Zambezi! It was the perfect spot to chill for a couple of days and plan our route home! Read about our time here in my latest blog post! (Link in bio)
NEW BLOG POST! Read about our time in Zambia, link in bio! Also, check out this bouncer who took his job very seriously in keeping the rif raf out of the water hole viewing hut 🐒
Remember when you're out game driving, looking for the big five; don't forget the little guys!
Day 40: Wildlife Camp (Zambia). Our first sunset over the Luangwa River, where we were joined by giraffes having sundowners too!
Day 39 & 40: Lake Malawi-Barefoot Camp (Lilongwe)- Wildlife Camp (South Luangwa).
A quick one night stop over and then on to Wildlife Camp. Right across from South Luangwa National Park let the animals wonder into our camp whenever they liked. 📷: @brandon_payne_sa
Day 37: Domwe Island- Fat Monkeys. We were welcomed back to fat monkeys campsite by this beautiful sunset, and these happy kids running home from a day on the lake! (Taken just in front of kayak Africa).
Day 37: Domwe Island-Fat Monkeys campsite.
On our paddle back from our beautiful one night island stay, we jumped off our kayaks for a snorkel around Thumbi Island. Read about this adventure in my blog (link in bio).
Day 36: Domwe Island (Lake Malawi)
We left Big Red and our rooftop tent on the mainland and packed a kayak with the bare necessities to paddle to a beautiful, isolated island off the mainland for the night. What an awesome experience, thanks to Kayak Africa! 📷: @brandon_payne_sa brandon
