Still hard to believe we got 2 straight mornings of snow In the desert last week. Waking up to a blanket of white fluffy snow in the Sonoran desert was something out of a dream. Have you seen my new short film that I released on Monday where I captured this rare event? Link in bio.

Sonoran Snow ——————— Here is my latest 2-minute short film on the snow that fell in Tucson last week! This is a pretty rare occurrence (once every few years for only a few hours.) Make sure to swipe left to watch the 2nd half since Instagram limits posts to 1 minute! Also be sure to visit the blog for additional photos and behind the scene content! Link in bio. Music by talented @rob_simonsen.

Sonoran Snow . Swipe left to see the collection! . Yesterday sure was magical! Woke up at 5:30am to photograph our 2nd straight day of snow in the desert with my friend Ryan. We headed out to SNP East area and spent the whole day exploring, taking photos, aerials, and timelapses! Here are 10 of my favorite images from the day. You can see 30+ more images on my Facebook page. Link in bio. There is so much to be thankful for this year! I’m not even sure where to begin but I went to some amazing places and met some wonderful people along the way. Thank you everyone for another great year and I can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and happy New Year! #topnine2018 app

Rainier . I’m missing the mountains right about now. Especially Mt Rainier near Seattle, Washington. I’m considering adding another workshop to the 2019 schedule at this location. Who would be interested? . PS - thank you to all those who came by my photography show in Tucson last night. It was so fun meeting and hanging out with you! If you missed it, I’ll be set up at the 4th Ave Street Fair this weekend :) ——————— Focus Stack ——————— Camera: Sony A7S2 Lens: Tamron 15-30 f/2.8 Shutter: 1/4 seconds ISO: 100 Tripod: @vanguardworld ALTA Pro 2+ 264 carbon fiber

The Giving Tree —————————————— What do you love the most about the night sky? For me, it’s that exciting feeling of looking up and being so small in such a vast universe. ——————— Single exposure ——————— Camera: Sony A7S2 Lens: Tamron 15-30 f/2.8 Shutter: 10 seconds ISO: 6,400 Tripod: @vanguardworld ALTA Pro 2+ 264 carbon fiber

Click the about link in my bio for the full story! —————— Hey friends and family, I'm excited to share a story that @az.illustrated did on me and my journey into photography! This has been a project that my good friend @aemerybrown and I have been talking about doing for a couple years now and we finally made it happen. For those who don't know Andrew, he is a very talented storyteller who has won many Emmy's for his work on AZPM (a local PBS channel here in Tucson.) Thank you Andrew for doing this and helping me get more and more comfortable in front of the camera and telling my story through your vision. Also thanks to all my friends, family, and everyone else who has supported me to get me where I am today! Not sure where I would be in life if I didn't move to Tucson and surround myself with a bunch of awesome and talented individuals. You all play a big part in who I am today. Keep shining! 🌟 —————— I’d love to hear your thoughts and any questions you might have! I know this story packs a lot in on such a short timeline, so please leave any questions or feedback in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
