We train hard in the gym, are strict with our diets but are we dedicating enough time for rest and recovery❓❓ . . 😴depending on your training split you should incorporate one plus days for solid rest. We fight the voice in our heads telling us to train, but we must also listen to what our bodies are telling us. When you need a day of rest you can tell, so don’t worry and take a day off. It’s only going to be beneficial. . . 😴sleep is so important. And i mean quality sleep. A solid 7-9 hours a night, uninterrupted. You gotta pee you gotta pee but definitely aim for those hours. A cool, dark room is best. . . 😴if your not eating right and supplying your body with the food it needs, your progress will suffer. Your gains will suffer, you will be tired and fatigued and your training will pay the price. Fuel your body with proper nutrition. That goes for the ladies❗️you guys think killin it in the gym and not eating is good for you. You need more calories than you think. . . 😴high protein is non negotiable. Protein is responsible for generating new muscle growth. So without proper intake, your literally wasting your time. The gym breaks down muscle so if it’s not rebuilt, weight training will actually shrink the muscle. Believe it or not. . .
