Regrettably, Stan Lee's Memorial Marvel March tomorrow was cancelled due to the severity of the weather.
While that's a shame and I'm totally up for a reschedule, I'm glad I agreed to join as the suit had been sitting mashed up in a closet collecting dust and damage. More than ever I'm ready to do one more Classic Victor build and really get it right (this is a good Doom, I stand by it, but its rough in places where I have more skill to bring to the table now). So it was nice to get her up and running and ready to pay respects to a guy who was akin to a Walt Disney or Jim Henson (with Cyclopean assists from Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko et al, and let's face it, Disney and Henson had their heavy lifters too, though mayhap not to the degree of the House that Jack Built). And, y'know, he co-created Doctor Effing Doom- that's kind of a big deal to me.
So thank you @ , for dreaming this up and getting my butt off the throne at least for a moment. Doom salutes you.
