toots. farts. gas. fluffs. 😳 what ever you want to call it... most of us struggle with a build up of methane gas in our gastrointestinal tract this time of year. and I'll be real. after my birthday meals this weekend, my gut needed a "refresh" which is why I'm munching down on avocado toast today. easy to digest. and makes my gut happy, plus, keeps me from becoming an extra floating in the air during the Macy Day thanksgiving parade. ❤️ and. I also wanted to give you some tips for digestion during the holidays as I totally get how stressful things can get... here's a few tidbits which always help me (and my gut)! ❤️ MORNING OF THANKFUL FEAST DAY: 1. Move your tooshie... it doesn't have to be intense, just get the heart pumping for 20-30 minutes. go for a morning walk with the family. play tag football outside. do some yoga on the deck in thermals. whatever it looks like for you. MOVE. 2. Stay hydrated my friend with water. I aim for 3L of water a day. 3. You know I skip breakfast... I'm a brunch person due to #intermittentfasting but before hitting the family meal, I'll make sure to grab a small meal around 10:30am so I'm not ravenous at meal time. Think a slice of avocado toast 🥑 ❤️ DURING THE FEAST: 1. Take a tip from my PawPaw Broussard + slow your chew... 2. Skip the fancy beverages... and stick to water with your meal 3. Try not to overindulge when stacking the plate... choose a serving size of what YOU want to consume + don't stress over it. ❤️ MORNING AFTER THE FEAST: 1. Wake up and walk, get things moving. 2. You know I am all bout staying hydrated. 3. Rest your gut today... and have a smoothie for brunch. Load it up with some leafy greens, healthy fats and clean protein.... it's like a french kiss to your gut. which sounds completely digesting, but you get me. 🥰 that's it. what's another word for "toot"? the Gillies, our twins, are in that phase of life where fart noises are hilarious!

Quick breakfast at the hospital while I wait for a doctors apt and some labs. If you are a guy you can stop reading lol. Before Keto I never had periods. Ever. Severe #pcos and fertility issues. After about 2 months on Keto I started having normal cycles. Well now they are on the opposite side of the spectrum and I’ve basically been on my period for a month. So getting some stuff checked out. Did anyone else experience this with Keto? Did it level out?

I was always told that skipping #breakfast was unhealthy..it would put your body into stress and then your body would think, that there are not enough ressources! How you organise it is up to you, as long as you keep these ratios. During this fasting period, #autophagy is activated in your cells, a process that can be described as "cell recycling" if you like - the cells clean themselves up and gets rid of a lot of crap! It has overall positive aspects on many parts of your health such as your weight or your blood lipid composition. And from an evolutionary stand point it makes sense: as cave men we would hunt, eat and then be left for longer periods of time without food. Я также поступила😊 Начинка может быть на ваше усмотрение.Приступаем к творчеству🍕 Тесто: ✅ кабачок - 1 шт ✅ семена чиа, льна и кунжута по 1 ст.л ✅ мука нутовая и кукурузная по 50 гр ✅ соль, перец, паприка копчёная по вкусу ✅ базилик, укроп, петрушка сушеные по вкусу Начинка: ✅ овощи тушёные - остатки от последнего рецепта ✅ помидор - 1 шт ✅ оливки ✅ пищевые дрожжи ✅ петрушка Соус: ✅ тахини из кунжута - 2 ст.л ✅ оливковое масло - 2 ст.л ✅ помидор - 1 шт ✅ вяленые томаты и перец ✅ пищевые дрожжи - 2 ст.л ✅ соль, перец, чеснок сушёный по вкусу Для теста измельчаем кабачок на крупной тёрке. Семена перемалываем в кофемолке и заливаем водой в 2 раза больше по объему. Оставляем настояться минут на 10. Затем замешиваем тесто, добавляем специи, зелень и муку. Тесто должно получиться как на фото. Перекладываем его на противень, разравниваем руками необходимую форму толщиной около 1 см. Отправляем в духовку на 10 минут при температуре 180 гр. В это время готовим соус. Вяленые овощи и свежий помидор мелко нарезаем. Смешиваем ингредиенты вместе. Достаем наш корж из духовки. Смазываем его соусом. Сверху распределяем тушёные овощи и нарезанный дольками помидор. Далеезапекаем около 20 минут при температуре 180 гр. Когда пицца готова, украшаем ее петрушкой, оливками. Сверху посыпаем пищевыми дрожжами для придания сырного вкуса. If you dont like leftovers... then we ain't friends. 😂🍗 - Leftover Tangy Turkey Ranch Club Wraps 🍅🌱🍗 { We may or my not already be thinking about Thanksgiving leftovers...try out these tasty + simple ranch club wraps this weekend in between shopping trips! } . makes 4 servings Ingredients: 4 large sprouted or whole wheat tortillas 8-12 ounces leftover turkey breast, sliced or shredded a few large handfuls of green leaf lettuce 2 Roma tomatoes, sliced 6 strips nitrate free bacon, cooked and crumbled Homemade Ranch: 1/2 cup Greek yogurt 1 clove fresh garlic, minced 1 Tbsp finely chopped yellow onion 2 Tbsp finely chopped chives 1 tsp dijon mustard 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste Instructions: In a small bowl add all the ranch ingredients and whisk well to combine. Layer each tortilla on a cutting board and spread over about 2 Tablespoons of the homemade ranch onto each. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, turkey and crumbled bacon equally. Repeat with the remaining tortillas. Isso mostra que devemos focar em estratégias que ajudem a manter esse peso após a dieta. E como fazer isso? Esse é o X da questão. Uma pesquisa de 2016 apresenta algumas ideias do que pode ajudar. Nesse trabalho, os autores investigaram 388 portugueses que perderam em média 18kg e, o mais importante, MANTIVERAM o peso perdido por mais 28 meses. Assim, os autores investigaram quais variáveis que ajudaram esses sujeitos no controle do peso e encontraram que: 1) Praticar exercício físico 2) Manter alimentos saudáveis disponíveis em casa 3) Comer vegetais 4) Fazer a refeição do café da manhã 5) Aumentar o consumo de alimentos proteicos 6) Monitoramento do peso 7) Estabelecer objetivos! MINHA OPINÃO: Muito interessante os resultados, mostrando que o que vale mesmo é a mudança de hábitos e não dietas que tem dia e hora para acabar! Alguns são meio óbvios como praticar exercício, comer vegetais e ter alimentos saudáveis em casa. Agora, um ponto importante que eu gosto de destacar é o monitoramento do peso! Muita gente diz que não se pode pesar na balança, mas eu acho que depende muito do objetivo da pessoa. Se é uma pessoa que está no começo de um trabalho de dieta + treinamento, de fato, o peso na balança não reflete nas mudanças da composição corporal. Mas, por outro lado, o monitoramento do peso é a melhor maneira para evitar a obesidade a longo prazo. Eu canso de ouvir gente dizendo que ganhou 10kgs em 1 ano e não sabe como. Então, se essa pessoa tivesse um monitoramento mais preciso do peso ao longo do ano, com certeza ela saberia onde estava pecando.
